He had a few good passes, but he has got to stop with the long jumpers. Just because you're open, Josh, doesn't mean you have to shoot it. In fact, that's precisely WHY you are open. Because other teams have these things called scouting reports(well, except for us apparently) and they adjust their defensive plan accordingly.
I was about to trick myself into believing that we will win both OKC and GSW game but why do that to myself right?
Lazy, uninspired first half by the starters. Bev and Harden abysmal defensively. Smoove abysmal offensively. Shved generally just abysmal. Dwight largely MIA for the first 24 minutes of the game. Careless, errant, telegraphed passes. The only positive is Harden, Bev and Ariza all shooting worlds better than they were a week or two ago. But for Harden & Bev, the offensive improvement appears to come at the expense of their defense, so I guess that's really a wash. Not a confidence-inspiring effort, that's for sure. I hope tomorrow isn't ugly.
Horrible defensive effort tonight. Maybe they were more concentrated on tomorrow's game against the Thunders.
Oh yeah forgot to mention, Shved is absolutely terrible. What has he done to earn playing time? Sheesh, he must be impressive in practice, 'cause he sure hasn't been in the games.
1 game folks. I mean, look at Dallas - they are getting blown out by Denver. Sky isn't falling for them nor us. These people are human. It is extremely difficult to remain focused for an entire 82 game season. Having said that - if Bev isn't defending, then he shouldn't be playing. He has been extremely frustrating to watch this year.
Dallas should lose tonight. They had to go to OT against Sactown less then 24 hours ago and are now playing in Denver in that crazy altitude. It's similar to the excusable loss the Rockets had a few weeks ago where they played an OT game in Denver and then had about 19 hours before they had to suit up back at home against the Pelicans. This was a situation where the Rockets had a day off between games, didn't play heavy minutes on Monday at Brooklyn, and were going up against an inferior opponent with a B2B looming tomorrow with a much tougher team in OKC. A serious ballclub would come out and take care of business. At the very least not constantly spot the other team 10 point leads and play lackadaisical defense. It's not the Rockets' losses that drive me crazy. It's the way they lose these games where they come out and don't seem engaged until it's too late.
Yeah, but that's why at the moment, neither Dallas not the Rockets look like serious contenders. Serious contenders always take care of business
Didn't watch the game... However looked at the stats.... and I am wondering how the FLIP we lost this game....
I see in no way this team is a serious contender. If you play hard, it's OK we lose the game. But if you play soft and lazy, sorry, championship is just a joke.
Nice take. You're not gonna win out the rest of the season. I am annoyed how they got off to a bad start and they rolled the red carpet out for layup drills. If we win tomorrow it will be freaking awesome. Not sure how OKC will play after 45 days rest nor how the rox will get up for this wrong-side b2b game.
I'm not concerned at all.. Dallas got beat by a terrible Denver team and they actually have a good coach. It happens. I'm anxious to see how we respond
Lulz, I'm upset about the loss, too, but these kinds of ridiculous conclusions based on a mid-regular-season game are just hilarious.
