I used to listen to them several years ago. The album "Waking the Fallen" has some seriously awesome instrumental riffs. The singing on the other hand.... bad.
Hating popular things? On the Internet? Way too easy. Should be asking people to admit which popular band they do like, boy bands included.
No, I mean how are they conisdered popular. I'm not saying they're bad, I'm saying they aren't mainstream at all.

311 and Sublime are the main ones for me. Not only do I not like their sound, mouth breathers tend to adore them. No one likes Nickelback. Stop it. And a billion people could dislike The Beatles and you'd still be a minority.
Rap music. Don't care if they're not bands per say, but seriously. Rap music and especially current/modern rap can blow a dick.
For a band that nobody admits to liking, Nickleback is awful successful. I've never understood the hate they receive. Granted they aren't a good band, but people act as if they are the worst thing to ever hit the airwaves. They are just a band that "cool" to hate. As for a band I never liked, Kings of Leon jumps to mind.
I never really liked Rush. I know, I know, it's crazy. They're amazing, technically proficient, etc., but I never went through the requisite male "rush phase" of development. Maybe that means I'm a chick, at the end of the day. Rush just always seemed so darned earnest, and I didn't like Geddy Lee's vocals. See I can't even spell his name probably.

I will add 3 new names, that hasnt been named, but I dont like: Imagine Dragons The Killers The white stripes and from the names that has been already posted here: Maroon 5 Kings of Leon The Cure and I know its not a band, but I really dont like Lady Gaga.

Radiohead Bruce Springsteen Tom Petty Dave Matthews The White Stripes and I like Nickelback too its funny all the hate they get seeing in 2015 there are maybe 5 rock bands that can headline arenas/amphitheaters. We are extremely close to rock music being a niche genre where the top bands will only be able to headline Bayou Place like venues. Its a sad time for rock for those of us that grew up in the 70's and 80's when there were multiple bands that could headline football stadiums.
