12 days into the new year and we already have another candidate for "Worst Thread 2015". The rate at which were going, it'll be a tough race by the end of the year.

Chris Paul is what makes them relevant.

You got two Top Ten players, and you let Crawford the Chucker dominate the ball and take all of your 4Q shots??

It's not about who finishes 1st in the west. It will come down to a game of paper, rock, scissor. The Clippers can absolutely win it all as-is. But they wont stand pat, they'll get incrementally better before the deadline. I feel just as good the Clippers' chances right now than I do about anyone else in the west.

Look at the teams around the nba who have become relevant as of late. They are just that, teams. Not relying on one individual
Paul always slows down ball movement and makes everything contingent based upon him. He's the ultimate first round champion. I think the Clips can get a lot of good players for him while a lot of the league , and as we can see many casual fans in th is thread, haven't figured that out.

CP3 has his flaws. I actually agree with you on what he does to ball movement.

But your premise of the Clippers trading him "to stay relevant" is idiotic.

Didn't the Clips only get relevant once CP3 landed there?

From a pure point guard perspective, he's the best in the league. He IS the reason Blake Griffin is a superstar & D.Jordan is a solid center. How did that happen? Because most of their shots come from alley hoops or fastbreak points. Who's getting them the ball? CP3. How exactly is he stopping ball movement if he's actively getting teammates open shots? Aint that what pg's do:confused:

Right, because trading away your stars is how you stay relevant.......

Also, it's ridiculous to blame Paul for their struggles when he's the driving force behind one of the best offenses in the NBA. Blame the fact that their wings can't defend worth a crap, and they're old and unathletic. I hate that you're making me defend Chris Paul because he's legitimately one of my least favorite players in the league, but it's asinine to say HE'S the reason why the Clippers struggle to beat good teams.

Has "what" started this thread, title would have been something like " Conley is better then C.Paul, clippers need to trade him to stay relevant "

You only know what you see. And despite all he does, clips aren't scaring any top team besides the rox, matchup issue, and routinely get dismissed by better teams. Think B I G picture. If all your players are getting th e ball from one guy, it's an easy game to plan for opposing coaches. No sense of team wherever Paul goes despite gaudy stats. Griffin has really developed and surrounding him with a paul package is going to be a hot topic when the clips get bounced early these playoffs.

I would never ever start a chris paul bashing thread to begin with. I think chris paul is the best pg in the league by far.

this thread is beyond idiotic, even for me.
