Peyton is going to play out the life of his Denver contract, perhaps more.

    Retirement? LOL.

going to listen to denver radio now. =)

elite isn't s*** when the colts d line was causing manning to go into panic mode. they made manning hurry on a lot of throws, receivers had lots of drops. he looked like this in a couple of the games in 2006, but his defense bailed him out.

manning hasn't had zip on the ball since that opening game in atlanta 3 seasons ago. it's just a manning post season performance here.

Peyton and the Broncos made the Colts d look elite. Don't think it will go the same way next week.

Right, this is the best match-up in my opinion. Best teams from both conferences.

Then you didn't watch him the final half of this season... he's still better than most, but it will hard for him to be great for an entire season/playoffs and Super Bowl run.

He already had two more elite years than anybody thought he would.. this year represents the true beginning of the decline.

Sure, so would you rather see him go out now with whatever he has left... or truly become a bad QB before retiring?

Montana and Elway went out with declining skills, but never got all the way to bad... Marino did get bad and hurt.

Yes, today's game didn't really surprise many... but when you look at it as a culmination of the further decline from the regular season, its a tad different than just his run of the mill "playoff failure".

He should go when he wants to. If he still loves playing than he should play. He struggled down the stretch every qb has had a rough stretch from time to time

It isn't the gunner's responsibility to protect the return man from his own blocker. Simple as that. It really is.

The blocker shouldn't be a chump who gets used by the gunner.

Seattle vs. NE for the Super Bowl

Can't wait til the media blows up over Richard Sherman/Tom Brady

    Brady vs Wilson

Greatest old QB vs greatest young QB

it's going to be comedic irony when bill complains about the seattle cornerbacks getting away with being more physical with the receiver.
but let's not write the colts out. if their defense can harass the patriots o line, brady will be in fetal position too.

No, he doesn't have the most turnovers in the league and a mediocre completion percentage.

After revisiting the Bryants non catch call, its pretty sketchy. He took 2-3 steps as he was going down, how many steps must you take before being a reception? Say if this same thing happened with him going across the middle of the field and he stumbles and bumbles for another 10 yds never gaining his balance is it still a non catch? They should address this for the future, how many steps?
