After blasting the Mavs last night, how could the Clippers blow a home game against the sorry Heat? Are they tired? Miami looked wobbly late (until the Bosh 3) but the Clipps couldn't get it going. 100% chance the Clippers make a significant trade before the deadline. They have to do something.
First round exit IMO This team is not good. Theyre worse than the last 3 years and non athletic besides the 2 bigs. Its a poorly constructed roster

I don't think y'all are being fair to Rivers here, listening only to Whiteside. It's somewhat like blaiming Morey for not keeping Lin back when he was looking for team. Rivers signed Spencer Hawes to a relatively cheap contract last summer. Didn't they give him PT promises. I'm sure that had a lot to do with not bringing in another 7' backup center. Sounds like Whiteside is butthurt because Hawes got what he wanted. Spencer Hawes excited to join Clippers "Even taking a little less money, this opportunity was too exciting to pass up," Hawes told Yahoo Sports on Friday night. "I've had a taste of the playoffs before, but being a part of this team will be just incredible. You get to a point where you really realize what's important, and I was thinking: 'What would my 12-year-old self have done? What would he prioritize?' It was this opportunity and what they're building with the Clippers." The Clippers recruited Hawes hard for the full mid-level exception and worked with his agent, Greg Lawrence of Wasserman Media Group, on a deal that includes a player option for the fourth year and a 15 percent trade kicker, sources said. http://sports.yahoo.com/news/clippers-reach-deal-to-sign-spencer-hawes-232235978.html
I'm basing my comment on River's overall body of work, not just the Whiteside situation. He appears to not have built a roster capable of ultimately competing for real contention in the West. We'll see what the Clippers do before the trading deadline.
But all GMs would have taken Hawes over Whiteside back then. Whiteside would be doing great to have a year like Hawes last year. Like I say, it's like blaming Morey for cutting Lin. Yeah, I agree overall. And I was being specific to the Whiteside comment.
the only player oif any note he's added is reddick, the rest were already there. Plus their bench is now horrifically bad, they used to be kinda good.
Right. They're not true contender. Rox loss to them earlier again this year, hope they can start finally having success against.
