Except Cowboys are perennially overrated, while Houston gets no media respect and are always underdogs/dark horses.
Super bowl winners with Peterson huh? LMAO, your running back rushed for 1845 yards and still didn't win ****. That's the delusional cowgirl fan base for ya.
Doubtful that Peterson would have an even bigger season at this point than Murray had this year... and Romo may end up in a wheelchair before he's 40. Chances are this was their best shot with this nucleus.
People just keep coming up with new BS to try to use against Dallas. "Can't win in December." Well they did. "Can't win a playoff game." Well they did. Now all of a sudden it's "Can't advance past Divisional Round." What was your next one? "Haven't won on January 18 since...?" Cowboys had a great season. I'm sorry you guys had to bear it. As for today's game, i don't agree with the rule, but they technically got it right. The early mistakes came back to bite them.
You should be proud of them. They went a lot further than anyone expected. But AD won't give them any more than what Murray did this season. Romo is the one thing I like about the Cowboys. Wish he would have left so I could root for him.
I don't buy any of that... the Cowboys "stigma" brings it upon themselves. If they want to be the Yankees of the NFL, they have to accept that any season short of a final 4 or Superbowl is a potential disappointment. This was the first season in a long time where their play actually came close to the hype.... but in the end, facts are the facts. Like the Rockets and Texans, the Cowboys haven't accomplished much of anything close to a championship in over 20 years.
according to the rules, if Dez secured the pass and made a move common to the game then that was a catch. From what I saw and every replay, Dez caught the ball and clearly had it secured, took multiple steps and lunged for the goal line. That seems about as common a football move as there is in the game. I thought it was a really bad call reversal.
And, you would be wrong... the "multiple steps" were part of the catch... the "lunge" was really him falling/losing balance, still part of the catch.... and when the arm hits the ground, and the ball pops out, that's not a completed catch. Its pretty simple... if he has control when he falls, its a catch. Since he lost control when he fell, its not a catch. It was not a "lunge"... he fell as he was trying to complete the catch. They looked at this play under replay, and it was reversed appropriately according to the rules... not sure you're going to win any arguments over multiple refs who have confirmed it was the right call based on the rules. Last week's call was more sketchy as it was totally a judgement call and wasn't subject to review... this one was and was able to be judged using actual standards/rules instead of just making a split-second judgement call.
They are similar in that whether they suck or not everyone else has to hear about them all the time from the media and their fanbase.
Is it the worst call since? <iframe width="420" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/_QRgtGuVE_0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Oh yeah. True. But that doesn't mean it's Super Bowl or bust. For the Cowboys that do talk about Super Bowl every year, they are idiots. I hate our fans as much as the next guy. Week 1 this season showed their true colors, when there were more 49ers fans at AT&T Stadium.
