it was a good catch. just a bad rule. they are very consistent with it so can't be really too mad at it. besides, cowboys had their chances to stop green bay on the final drive... the only thing that should be disputed is if there was a football move made with it and then the ball hits the ground which means it would have been a recovered fumble. however, a football move implies he had possession, which he didn't when he was in the process of catching it, so i think it was the right call according to the rules. side note, dez held to only 3/38. wow. and a-rod looked completely average on one leg yet threw for 24/35 for 316 yds, 3 tds, and 0 ints. wow.
Dayum dude chill, ya boys get knocked off and you get all defensive. Its ok you can pull for Seattle now Mr. Bandwagon.
i never see the ball hitting the ground. i see the arm and wrist under the ball hitting the ground, and the force of the ground hitting the arm pops that ball out. since no packer touched him, the ball should still be a live one. for example, a packer could pick it off and go the other way. at best, since it was called a catch on the field it should have been inconclusive or reversed to a td. i know that you have to maintain possession through the entire process of the catch but it was never a catch until he was inside the endzone the part that the gif doesn't show. i'd be pissed had that happened to us. but it's fun discussing. is there a macro gif? i'm peeved that i can't see the ball hitting the ground. some of the rules the nfl has are smh material, tuck, this one, the runner loosing the ball on his own before reaching the goal line, the spot fouls on ints, the watt sacks that get called for penalties.
Dallas should have lost to the Lions last week due to the poor PI no-call. They would have lost by 20 had Aaron Rodgers been fully healthy. So quit ur whining, cowboys fans
all the cowboy fans i know are from houston. you realize the texans are an expansion team right? there was a thread about this awhile back.
Basically like herpes, it's everywhere and not going away. No cure for it bro. As soon as they get a win they flare up. Gross
The Packer touched Bryant when they both went up for the ball. Bryant went down to the ground but he doesn't establish full possession of the ball. From tinman's gif, you can clearly see the ball come loose from his hands when it contacts the ground. That makes it incomplete. From the cross-field angle, you can also see both hands come off the ball as he rolls over, further confirming Bryant lost possession of the ball when he contacted the ground. It's clear that Bryant did not complete the catch. If his hand was underneath the ball and if the ball did not move when he contacted the ground, but his hands come off as he rolls over and he recatches it in the endzone, then it's a TD.
Yeah, I realize that. I can't ever fathom rooting for another in-state city, let alone the cesspool of crap that is Dallas. Even if that means supporting some team 1000 miles away from me. As long as its not Dallas.
Lol... they haven't won much in 20 years. I told them all they would lose and no one was worried about a reg season team, and now I'm about to enjoy a yummy barbecue. Cowboys - it's what you expect. Betting men make a lot of money based on th em falling flat in th e early playoffs yr after yr.
look at my post history prior to the lions game and you can see i root fervently against all dallas teams
