Ball hit the ground and bobbled. He didn't control the ball all the way through, so it's not a catch. Correct call after the challenge. I don't understand why people are arguing over this. It may be a stupid rule, but it's been like this for years, and we see this exact call all the time.

Ok, now there is a drunk guy yelling at basically everybody in the bar. "Can you tell me how we didn't get screwed??? Someone? Cmon!" Umm, no one is listening to you, sir. Even Cowboys fans are laughing.

Great win today!! I think we get crushed next week, especially if A-Rod is hurt, but I'm glad they pulled out this win!

It was the right call made. Blame the rules. I thought it was a catch, but the rules have shown to be consistent when the ball hits the ground.

Only thing bad was that it pretty much seals A-Rod the MVP trophy, but he seriously showed what an MVP looked like. Seriously, what is the chance we get a co-MVP with Watt???

The odd thing here is the steps taken with possession have absolutely no bearing on the enforcement of the rule. They really need to redefine this rule.

Oh your team hasn't been relevant since Creed. Please, stop. The Boys get more than their share of love.

If a receiver comes down with the ball, juggles it but the ball doesn't hit the ground, and comes up with it...that's not a catch under the rule because receiver didn't control the ball. not sure if the dez one touched the ground or not. this game aside...would the rule be better going forward and for the game if it's ruled a catch even if the ball is juggled but doesn't touch the ground in the process? it just seems like that would be a catch if it didn't touch the ground at all.

Seeing the gif there makes it pretty simple. The contact ocurred during the process of the catch causing the receiver to go to the ground which means he must maintaim possession of the ball and complete the catch. Football moves, steps, etc all irrelevant arguments according to the rules. The call is correct but the rule is poorly defined.
