It looks like the Rockets are on pace for something like 57-58 wins, and before the season they were projected at around 50. So, even with all the injuries to start the season they are kicking major butt!
Considering Howard seems to not be 100% yet which is concerning (he didn't dunk the ball on that break away...looks kinda obvious now imo), the Rox are turning the corner in my opinion. Looking forward to getting Jones back.
What a fool... it's clearly been that his knee stiffens up on him every other game or so... he's said it.. Felt great in the Cavs game, then B2b tightened up against NY... and tonight... he's just pushing through it..
Dwight is coasting, he is simply mailing it in at times, he is what he is....a guy who chooses when to play. DD
A blowout win and Dwight had a +/- of -1. He has to be one of the most overpaid players in the league right now.
Rockets 4th best record in the league right now. I'm glad we didn't blow it up after that meh stretch.
Dwight's effort kinda pisses me off but as long as he turns it all on in the playoffs I think it's cool

I don't think it's strange at all, honestly. Terry was brought over for his veteran leadership more so than anything else. Granted his three point shooting is a big factor as well but I think it's clear that as a team w championship aspirations they vale having that veteran presence on the second squad moreso than anything else. With harden, Howard and ariza you really don't need that presence w the first unit which is why they drop Canaan in there when bev is out. I do like what Canaan brings to the table, though.
Coasting, more like idling. Has anyone noticed (I'm sure you have) how sluggish he rolls off of his pick's. It's like he's going in slow motion. DMo rolls out of his picks so quick. How hard is it to get payed millions of dollars and roll hard off of a pick??? I know Dwight is more athletic than who he's playing against. He should be able to beat just about anyone in a foot race from the top of the key to the basket. That and our sloppy passes are my complaints from last nights game. Other than that I'd say we will be really hard to beat in the playoffs in a halfcourt setting. That's how the Jazz have been beating their opponents as of late, by slowing it down. Doesn't work against us.
If people here get upset with our commentators, what more of the players? I wouldn't be surprised if the towel boys are next in line.
Dwight's screens have been getting worse and worse, for the last couple of games he just screens with his arm, that's insane, so frustrating. Something's definitely up with that guy, I hope he doesn't mess up this season now that we finally have the personnel. He must have realized by now that the team plays better when he doesn't get many post touches. He must know that he sucks posting up. If he can't suck it up and put up a 100% effort he should not be part of a team trying to win a championship.
Its obvious that the knee is still an issue. He had a really radical procedure that most get in the off season. We can only hope he gets near 100%
