The people who want to trade Dwight are either idiots or trolls, possibly both. For starters, if Morey traded Dwight, no star free agent would ever sign with the Rockets. Ever. Again. There are other reasons, but intelligent fans already know them, and the idiots are too stupid to understand no matter how many times it's explained to them.

And it's the same thing with the fire McHale brigade. Just like the trade Dwight brigade, these people are either idiots or trolls, probably both. McHale isn't going anywhere unless the Rockets get crushed in the first round, maybe not even then, so constantly whining about him is a fast (and deserving) way to get put on ignore.

Seriously, these two groups of people have managed to make hardcore Lin fans look reasonable and intelligent in comparison. They are so obnoxiously stupid, we can only hope they never have children.

    :)

He is stronger than everyone on those teams. In a physical playoff series Dwight will dominate everyone of those guys

I really do think hes coasting. He steps up when he needs too (playoffs) but maybe this is better for his overall health?

Then you're in denial. Even against teams where he's physically superior, he's just too unskilled and inefficient to ever be an effective offensive player.

It's in the Rockets best interest that he and the coaching staff acknowledge that he SUCKS in the post game and those post touches should go to Motiejunas. Too bad that will never happen.

I don't think it's just that Howard tries harder in the playoffs, I think it's also that Howard's game is better allowed under playoff officiating. In the regular season you can have guys like Chris Paul and Brook Lopez pulling the chair, falling down whenever they want and more often than not drawing an offensive foul call. In the playoffs this happens less; Dwight demands a double team much more readily under this scenario.

And then with the post moves, who knows. Maybe Dwight needs to be banged down low by his man in order to feel comfortable to put up his shots. Almost all of them seem to be done with too much urgency and not enough touch. Reminds of Shaq when he was young and still experimenting with things before finally settling down on that high percentage baby hook. Shaq had like two moves in the post but given how they let him put a beating on his man, they worked just fine.

Sometimes, I think some IDs must be trolls paid for by Mark Cuban, posting here just to screw up the Rockets chemistry.

It's probably more a function of the community.

this forum tends to operate very differently to how theirs do, this place, being negative will get you rep, over the there, you need to be drinking the kool aid.

So basically you guys theory is he's playing TERRIBLE in the post now but in the playoffs he'll somehow turn it on. That makes 0 sense but it's clutchfans where anything that goes in our favor can be justified. I do agree that his game is more suited for the playoffs than James but I maintain what I said. Dwight dominated in an era when the center positioned sucked
He's not gonna do what he did last year to chandler, gasol, etc

Trade Dwight, fire McHale, trade Bev, cut Josh, bench Ariza, don't play Shved, play Canaan, trade DMo, tell Harden not to shoot so much, get rid of Dorsey, blah, blah, blah.

Who is sitting on top of the toughest division in the NBA today?

I wonder if other NBA cities that have a team as strong as ours has fans as idiotic.

We once had a poll asking who should make the decisions 1) the coaching staff or 2) a group of BBS assistants.

    #2 won

Even in Orlando, Dwight always had games were he just didn't show up (usually when in early foul trouble). I don't understand why people are upset that dwight is playing like he always has. He was never a dominant offensive player.

Lol, ouch, #2... If the team was run by some posters here the Rockets wouldn't have Harden/Howard, and they'd somehow find a way to have DMo play 1v5.

Not sure its even thread worthy to address the idiots that think its a good idea to shop Dwight Howard.

The Rockets made their bed with Dwight Howard for better or worse two Summers ago. They aren't going to even bring his name up in trades.

If Cleveland called up Morey and said Lebron for Dwight straight up, I bet Morey laughs, hangs up the phone, and thinks its a prank call.

Point being... any of these scenarios where you think it might be a good idea to trade Dwight Howard would essentially be a joke to even consider a possibility from Morey. Meaning... its not going to happen.

The Rockets and Dwight Howard are married to each other for at least another year after this one. Get used to it.

Yea we'd be screwed FA wise if we ever tried to trade him so we're stuck with him. I don't think we should trade him, I also don't think this idea that he's going to somehow wake up in the playoffs if he continued to play like this makes any sense either
