Lets wait till after the all-star break where he can finally get some rest in for that Knee and more breaks in between games will also help .

If he doesn't pick it up getting close to April that is when you should start worrying.

You are not fair to him. He does the little things. Mostly rebounds and blocks are there.

Scoring was never his strong suit and this season it is bad.

He is not b****ing, slightly injured. I am all for a paycut. His athleticism will be declining soon.

People already forgot last year's playoffs i guess

Dmo could replace him. Now that's laughable

We lost in last year's playoffs, I mean the guy was good, but he is not Hakeem here we are talking about.

    Yeah DD. Agreed, not Hakeem.

We need a team effort to go deep this year. I'm worried about what will happen when teams trap Harden. He's had a few times this year when he tries to dribble through double teams and loses the ball.

If Hakeem's the standard then you'll never be satisfied so you might as well trade or replace all the centers you get from now on. BTW Dwight wasn't just good against the Blazers he was great 26ppg and 13.7rpg while shooting 54%. The truth is Harden went MIA and no one is asking how replaceable he is.

    Watching Dwight...makes me miss Yao.

Our current team is very frustrating to watch, I don't like how we play. Were winning, and I love the rockets, but I just feel like this team is mashed up wrong and underachieving. I literally loved our 09-12 rosters that didn't make the playoffs but overachieved like hell, they were so scrappy and full of heart. Now, I'm not sure, just isn't the same.

Man, if he is coasting such that he can turn it on like this in the playoffs then I'm all good

If somehow he and harden can play at the top of their game - what a sight that would be.

so what, if Harden didn't play like a complete scrub in the playoffs we'd be off to the second round, it doesn't take a thing away from what Howard did that whole series.

it just means that Harden was so bad that even a beastly performance from Howard couldn't carry.

We didn't lose the series because of Dwight Howard. He showed up for us in the playoffs giving us 24/13 and 3 block shots.

He'd be ok as a fourth action on offense. Get a real pg.

    Harden, dmo, pg, Howard ariza.

    In that order.

Hell! he would be great as a 2nd option if he could hit a FT in crunch time...or anytime

how the hell do you guys not realize that he isn't 100% right now? It is so painfully obvious that this is nothing like the Dwight we were seeing in the first half of the season before his knee injury, and won't be the Dwight we see for the rest of his contract. He is clearly battling through the same knee issue and is playing injured, while his "lack of effort" play is still better than 90% of centers in the league today, stop acting as if this is 100% normal Dwight that we will see for the rest of his contract and asking for him to be traded...

I full expect him to continue to average 18-20ppg and 11-12 rpg for the rest of the season, and then turn it up for the playoffs. Once he has a chance to rest and get back to 100% (which I presume will be around the all star break) we will rip off an extended stretch of having a very good record. Last year, after the all star break, we had one of the best records in the league, and this year, I expect the same to happen.

He hasn't been the best defensive big since 2011.

He's not replaceable but he sure played replaceable today. Was a -1 and still can't finish shots inside. The radio guys said he looked disengaged throughout the game. What a joke effort from our max level center.

He's obviously playing hurt. I honestly hope he doesn't get selected for the all star game so he can get some extra rest. Mchale needs to figure out how to keep him fresh. I want him to be able to turn it up for the playoffs like he did last year

opponents are only shooting 28% on shots he is within 2 feet of, by far the best in the league and he is playing hurt right now. I would say he is still a dark horse DPOY candidate this year, even after missing so many games if he continues to dominate the paint on the defensive end for the rest of the year and can stay healthy.
