I honestly think he is. You always hear the 'you can't teach height'. + the fact his offensive repertoire is becoming insane and almost unguardable. His defense has improved immensely, and he's also still young. It always takes longer for big men to adjust in the NBA as well. D-Mo is only scratching the surface... Imagine if he wasn't accepting the second fiddle role in the post and giving up offensive touches to someone so much worse than him.
right now Howard is a net negative when he's on the court. turnover happens either himself or trying to get him the ball, and for the most part the offense stagnates when he's involved. on defense, he's really coasting, not giving max effort. very frustrating watching him this season. he might as well be resting his knee or shoulder or whatever.
I don't understand why teams don't let Dwight post up? Bring help when he makes a move, but let Dwight post up. 75% of the time it's a turnover or missed free throws. Smith with Monster block!
Dwight can be a pretty good playmaker through the post when he's not turning the ball over like he works at a bakery.
