Dmo will be our X factor in the playoffs when they start clamping down on Harden. They just have to give him the ball and not force it to Dwight when it's not there

Other than a couple of long shots, Smith has been playing great. Maybe he us getting healthier or something, but he is looking more energetic out there. Smith will be a difference maker for us.
2 Things.....Harden's defense has gotten noticeably bad over the past ten games. He is overplaying his man and getting a steal every once in awhile but his man is usually wide open. In addition he is failing to switch quickly on defense. Ariza would switch to cover his man and he would just go under the rim for and leave his man wide open. Dwight destroyed Duncan in our loss to the Spurs. I don't think it is a matchup issue, because he sucked Thursday against that crap Knicks frontline...it's consistency. He doesn't bring it every night; opponent doesn't matter.
Don't get me wrong I'm plenty down to explore other options there if we can minimize the loss defensively... That said I think our efforts are best used lookng for a much better facilitating pg.
Lin was doing that **** all season last year, just penetrate and pass the ball. PB's problem is he drive to the base line too much, he should start from the top, it will be easier for him to break down the defense.
I would prefer to see Brewer start over Beverly or Ariza. We can't have two brick masters starting...heck I'll take Papa over Beverly as a starter. I like them both and hopefully they get out of their slump but come playoff time we know the game hunkers down and we can't have Bev and Ariza missing layups as starters...coming off the bench it will not hurt as much when they Brick
If Ariza's shot selection wasn't so poor this season, I would somewhat give him a pass for being in such a big shooting slump. He takes worse shots than Smoove does and that's saying something.

If Harden wasn't being very sloppy with his passes, that wouldn't be the case. And Smoove is taking good shots (outside of one mid-range shot not in flow of offense) so is something wrong with him taking open shots?
Which is why most great coaches choose defense over offense for their role players. You're just applying the basic premise "you must score to win" to us vs to the opponents.,,,you got basketball logic turned around.
