The point Dawkins was making in the video was that these other religions are comparatively benign. I do not think its a stretch at all to assume that the vast majority of catholics or christians would completely disagree if a Catholic was murdered on the steps of the Vactican if they chose to leave the faith

Right, because we have religious laws written into scripture that are repugnant, disgusting, and disdainful, but we have those who interpret it differently so that they can live in civil society. So maybe we don't have to "second guess" everybody. Anyways, fchowd0311 has walked back his statement into something along the lines of "if the Muslim I'm talking to happens to believe in killing me in broad daylight, I'll probably second guess him" which is a reasonable statement that departs from "I think it's okay for French people to second guess all Muslims."
