As you look back at your old photos im sure you find yourself cringing at some of the things you thought were stylish "back in the day" and thinking to yourself "what was i thinking" So in which decade did we make the worst fashion choices? For me its the 90's by far... there seemed to be a lot of neon and a big resurgence in overalls which lead to some interesting outfits
70s... bell bottoms, platform shoes, huge medallion chain, popuped up collars, powdered blue leisure suits... watch Saturday night fever. You have to laugh.
Mid 80's to the early 90's. Big hair and neon, yuck. Although I think the current styles are moving to the top of my list. When the hell did skinny jeans become cool, did I miss this?
easy there with the early 2000s, i still wear some of my pants from that era i have to say the mid 90s
The 1970s were so hilariously bad, it's not even funny. Clothes so ugly, not even models looked good in them.
Many people are still doing this. Inexplicably this is a trend that just will not die. I've even seen people sagging skinny jeans, which is a combo of my 2 least favorite styles ever. 20 years now, SMH
I agree with this. I look back at some of my "style" choices and was like 'what was I thinking?' No more baggy clothes and flashy colors for me.
I don't change my look every decade. I go through phases, some last longer than others, but never more than a couple of years. I guess my worst phase perhaps would be..... Spoiler Game of Thrones Phase.... Not because I didn't look marvelous, but rather because it brought out the worst in me! Everyone around me had to address me as "My Lord", and no one could look me in the eyes! My wife started getting upset when I started looking for concubines, and my son started plotting against me to take away my kingdom!... Whew, glad that phase is over with!.... Spoiler
1980's. Undoubtedly the worst decade for clothes that complemented women. Shoulder pads, mom pants....It was just bad. And the hair was bad. Neon in the 90's? Maybe 1990. Neon was a mid-to-late 80's fad. Ultra Hott!
I never understood Polyester and high-water, tight corduroy pants --> '70s Best for mens' clothes was '50s and early '60s -- think Don Draper and Kramer also, if Pharrell was a decade, it would be him dude, trust us, you look stupid
The '80s was the worst of two worlds because they were trying to negate the earthiness of the seventies, but still continue the trend of expressiveness and individualism from from the mid-60s onward. Women's '80s fashion was both wilder and less revealing and contoured than in the ensuing decades, so you had wretched looking collars, no cleavage and longer pants and skirts, with horrible hairstyles and eye makeup that just doesn't make any sense. From my own perspective, black hairstyle and fashion in the eighties is incomprehensible, like they just never planned on going into office buildings or halfway decent restaurants.
