What Phoenix does will be entirely dependent on what happens to them prior to the trade deadline, their schedule through that period is brutal (could well be the hardest stretch any team has over 10 games this year), if OKC over runs them, then a trade may happen, if not, they'll ride it til the end of the season, but that's been the case for a while. That pick they traded hasn't been worth much since Minnesota traded away Love, but Wright is an expiring.

Hopefully the Dragic crap stops. Clearly the Suns are gunning for the playoffs and Dragic is their best player

I think the only way to get Dragic is to work a 3 way in which our assets goes to a team looking to tool for the future while they ship players to PHX that will strengthen them in areas other than PG (where they're covered) for their playoff push.

I think the only scenario where PHX trades dragic is if it's clear they won't be making the playoffs. Them contending I don't think there's anyway they trade 1 of their 2 best players that has them in contention.

Bledsoe & Len. The Suns have improved lately because Len has improved.

Yeah, Len is doing great and could develop in one of the top centers in the league, but Goran is still their best player, and if they're going for the playoffs, he's the crucial piece they need to get there. Without him they're no doubt a lottery team.

I dont think we have the cap space to make a serious offer. If you release KPap, let go of brewer, Terry, trade tjones and maybe Capella for nothing back you can clear about $16mm in cap space.

So in essence would you trade brewer, KPap, jones, Capella, Terry for Dragic?

The Suns still have a glut at PG and only one of them that can (likely will) walk at the end of the season. Why not set yourself up for the future now, unless the Suns think they can make a legit run at the championship this year? Honestly if they do think they can make a legit run at the championship right now, they need to replace the entire FO.

Because they think they can keep dragon and despite everyone saying they have a glut, they have the guards they want. They believe in the three guard rotation.

    Okay well

    1. That's a ton of cash to sink into guards if they manage to convince Gogi not to leave for a better team....especially given that the Suns have a notoriously cheap owner.

    2. If Dragic can get a ton of cash just about anywhere, why would he choose to stay in a 3 PG system?

    3. Are the Suns a legit championship contender as currently constructed?

    4. If you're the Suns, can you risk losing Gogi and getting nothing in return?

Possibly. But where is he going to go? The appalling choice of knicks and lakers, where he'll spend his prime rotting on a lottery team? Of course, he might walk because he's unsatisfied with his role, primarily playing off-ball sg, wanting the ball back in his hands. I wouldn't be surprised. But when you look at it, he has surprisingly few options.

Minnesota likes Levine and I think they ultimately want to let him grow into the PG role. I really hope we make a run at Rubio if Dragic ends up off the table.

Anyway about Phoenix..... They have Len and Plumlee and they also have to sign Wright this offseason. I could see them acquiring right and wanting to move a guard. Maybe Thomas at this point.

I honestly think there are many PGs out there right now that could put us over the top.

NOP Pick+Canaan+Schved+Pap can acquire about 13 million.

Bledsoe, Isiah Thomas, Goran Dragic, Ricky Rubio, Kemba Walker, Brandon Knight, Ty Lawson are all options that I think could help round us out at this point.

Which team? Nobody of relevance has the cap to sign him.
