I'm pleasantly surprised that Reggie Miller even mentioned the game, and they even had a graphic on how low the free throw numbers were in that game. It was nice to get some acknowledgement on that.

On topic though, it's gotten to a point where I love watching Harden iso plays. He's an absolute joy to watch.

But..but... I thought Harden's priority is to create contact so he can be fouled instead of making the shot?

Cutting down his minutes has made a big difference, in my opinion. When he's relatively fresh, he's aces. That's my impression, at any rate.

Normally, I hate it when a player dribbles around for 20 seconds then launches a low-percentage fade-away jumper. It's a recipe for a wasted possession.

Harden has become so good and so consistent at it that it's almost like a layup for him.

In fact, Harden is so good offensively that I have no problem with anything he does. He can do anything he wants and I'm not going to complain. Literally NOTHING he does makes me cringe anymore because the good outweighs the bad by such a large margin.

Honestly, I haven't had that kind of opinion about any Rocket since Hakeem...

There is certainly a ring of truth to this. Ariza also started making shots last night. We have a few more easier teams to play and the all star break to help our team recover. Excited to see the finish product once everybody gets acclimated to the team.

Thing of beauty. He dances and then hit them with the step back.

Harden's step back jumper has been a wonderful add to his offensive game.

And in the playoffs, that step back jumper will be CRITICAL, because when the Rockets need a basket, that is where they need to go. Because the refs aren't going to call fouls on those Harden drives to the basket late in the game.

    Keep working that jumper, James!

He should add a step sideways jumper to his repertoire.

During US team battle 1om1,between him,Durant and George, he was far superior than his two taller opponents , glad that showed on the court this time.

Reggie Millar was awesome last night

    Miller really hates the knicks.

I loved his spike lee comments.

Harden has taken the next step.

Just has to show it in the playoffs.

He needs to go hang with Jimmy Butler this summer.

I just read something on how Butler basically rid his Houston house of anything that would prevent him from going to the gym.

Can the Rockets go out and offer Butler the max? Who would they have to cut?

Butler would make this team incredible.

This has to be the Rockets go to play in crunch time during the playoffs when-we-need-a basket correct?

Wade's turnaround jumper, Dirk's one legged fadeaway, Chandler Parsons' pump fake, it's up with there with the best franchise players in the league today.

Euros invented it, James perfected it. They should rename it the Harden Hop.

Doubt it, Chicago can't screw this one up and will resign him.

This is the only play in the Rockets "playbook".
