One of my single friends said Instagram was the best for picking up females. Back in the day, I got them online using Xanga and MySpace then chatting through AIM. That was before finding a romantic partner online was acceptable so fewer people were doing it which probably was why I fared so well. (Though I did get tricked by an obese girl who was good with camera angles.) Anyway yall should try IG and see what your luck is.
Tinder is no different than any other dating site/service. It's never going to be just one thing, unless the name or description of the site or service specifically states it's for flings, serious relationships, etc. You're going to attract what you portray and get the kind of women you look for. Its reputation is that it's for flings, since there's not much to people's profiles than appearances, but that's a false assumption.

I did not. Chubby? Sure, no problem. But a genuine fatty? Nah I'm good. I'm good. I went through with the dinner date as best I could but ended all communication immediately after.

You'd be surprised how much that works. I'd have a decent MLB contract with my batting average with that line. I don't capitalize every time, but seriously I was shocked.
LMFAO No joke... He can't take a dump in my house, use one of my glasses or plates. He is a doctor... He knows better but after he broke up with his fiancée he has raw dogged probably 100 times. First, not using protection is STUPID. Second, they don't discuss it really. They talk, read body language and usually have sex. He said sometimes he literally drives to their homes, sometimes with husbands working, and smashes and dashes. Tinder is bad. Basically craigslist with slightly more attractive women and no money being involved.
I downloaded Hinge which is basically a Tinder knockoff and I don't know what it is, but I've had 10x more success on there than on Tinder. Girls respond most of the time and I get girls messaging me first much more than on Tinder. It doesn't have the trashiness feel to it that Tinder has and the girls seem to be more attractive in general.

Two of my friends met there current gfs on tinder, and I got one date out of Tinder once (chick turned out to be a lot less attractive than her profile and we didn't click). Other than that, most people just use it as a game to see what sort of people they can match with.
Just celebrated my one year anniversary with a girl I met on Tinder. I went on one other date before meeting my girlfriend. It does work if you want to look for a relationship and it works if you're looking to go on dates/hook up/etc. I know friends who've gone on dates, had flings and hooked up.

We hit a year since our first date and our a couple weeks away from an official year. It's what you make it. I work 50-60 hours a week so there are only so many people you can go out and meet. It to me was an efficiency thing. It's not like the girls on tinder are going to be any less compatible than a random person you meet at a bar. Just have to pursue the right ones. My strategy was just to breeze through everyone and approval them all until there weren't any left. Then I based who I actually messaged on the matches. It ensured I maximized my options that were technically possible under the circumstances. I think it's WAY better than okcupid. I went on a couple OC dates and people are nothing like the essays you have to write online. I liked tinder because to me it more imitated real life. You see someone you like and then you start to have a conversation and go from there. It's similar to approaching someone at a bar. I don't go to a bar and then have pass over an essay I wrote about myself and hope she comes over to talk to me.
