    They are satirical cartoons. Look at how they draw the GOP in these cartoons or how they draw Christian fundamentalists, how they used to draw George Bush, how they currently draw Obama...

    You consider it hateful because it's said about you. Guess what? All the fat people in this country are going to get AK47s to kill everyone who ever told a fat joke. Rosie O'Donnel is about to kill every cartoonist who ever drew her as a fat raging monster. Cool right?

    Had it coming right? Can't say they have no blame right?

    It is not just against Muslims. Every single race/gender/ethnicity/religion/bodytype/sick type of person has been portrayed or joked about in one form or another. You make it seem that we should give Muslims special treatment for being Muslim.

    How you think "we" generalize Muslims is how you've been generalizing the posters on this board.

    I already said those cartoons are not okay. If you think they are that's on you. We have to hold our writers to a higher standard than drawing prophets bent over naked. It is offensive to some and crazies will be crazy.

    It is my mistake for holding some of you guys to a higher standard.

    That's why I started using the word racism on accident. Not gonna read the rest of your post. I don't want to confuse others, so I am being technical.

    But I guess you are right. If you rape my wife, kill my daughter and assault my dog, I will certainly lash out in violence.

    One group of people has demonstrated that all it takes to get them to that level is drawing pictures.

    You see that as being chalked up to "people kill people."

    Yeah, by persecuting them through beatings, lack of civil rights, sex crimes, slavery, segregation, and unlawful imprisonment. Not by drawing cartoons of them. Is there SERIOUSLY another side to this that you're trying to tow?? I totally get playing Devil's Advocate, but only where it's appropriate, and only when it doesn't make you sound like a raving lunatic.
