Breaking News - Three Gunman in Paris kill 12 and are on the loose.

One of the policeman has a first name "Ahmed" which should be a muslim name.

 

Two police officers obviously wasn't enough in retrospect. Were they even armed? If they were, then they probably had pistols to fight terrorists with AK-47s...not exactly a fair fight.

 

The terrorists could care less. They are the enemy of all of us.

 

If enough people of one side and one ideology want a war, history shows they will get war. That's just how humans behave.

Will there be enough of the radical islam people to foment that war? That's the central question, to me.

Have you ever been to France? It is not uncommon to see police with machine guns walking around Charles de Gaulle or the Eiffel Tower.

Americans love to make fun of the French but they are a people that are passionate and do not put up with bull****. I expect this tragedy to precede severe repercussions.

Let's just ignore anyone inserting Obama. Not really relevant in any tangible way to the events in Paris.

It's now confirmed, via BBC and CNN, that the two main suspects robbed a gas station in northern France. To me, this is a very good sign in the big picture. There is not a support network housing, hiding, and transporting these two barbarians. No, they are working very much on their own at this point, not unlike the two murderous brothers in Boston. I think this increases the chances that the two will be apprehended, even though these guys seems light years ahead of the Boston scum, in terms of sophistication.

To get meta for a moment, serious question: if a certain group of people want to live in the stone age, or the dark ages at least -- and it's clear that groups like ISIS want this very much -- can we just create like a reserve for them? I suppose the clear answer is no, b/c they want to convert the entire planet to their radical brand of zealotry.

 

What's the story behind the third suspect? Seeing conflicting things about it. Was there even a third suspect?

I think these guys are going to be apprehended before the end of the week.

 

That's the problem though. They don't just want to be left alone.
