Nah it was to a player built like a linebacker but with a better touch than a number of American players. But seriously, they gave up a goal to a player who is actually somewhat decent despite his size as a footy player. Nothing wrong in that.
Messi isn't going to Chelsea as long as Mou is there.. If he ends up in EPL it will be at Man City. Having said that, chances of him leaving are very slim.
Lucho has got to go. This dude is a dumbass. 25 games this season = 25 different lineups. What kind of coach does that? No consistency = no chemistry.
An IDIOT.. I'm all about rotations but you have to know when to do them, Anoeta is not a place to be experimenting.
His wife now following them too, ermahgerd. Would be an insane move, so right now I doubt it. Think he will retire from European football at Barca in a few years and then go back to play for his Argentinian club.
Messi will go to United. Only club besides Madrid and Bayern who can afford him without breaking the FFP. Plus, we like to buy attacking players for our 4-0-6 lineups.
Haven't even used 4 defenders for most of the year. Of course that is partly because they are lucky to have more than 3 healthy defenders at a time.
I know coaches of big clubs have to keep their stars fresh throughout the year b/c you have so many competitions (the league, UCL, CDR...). Tata messed up last year b/c he "over-played" his best players (Barca started out great last year, and then faded). But this guy is simply crazy. He literally rotates players every game. You play well, you see the bench. You suck, and you start. There's no cohesiveness to the mid-field or defense. And his tactics also change every week. This guy is on a power trip for a no-name coach. It's fine to rotate players to rest them, but you need ot field a consistent lineup so they can build up the chemistry as you hit the big part of the season, which is NOW for Barca. the Real game last Sunday could have allowed us some breathing room, but no, now we're stuck right between real and athletico, with Valencia and Villareal gaining huge momentum. With the CDR, we're due to face Athletic/Real in the semis. Then you have ManU next month. yet again, Lucho hasn't fielded the same lineup twice. That is just unheard of. Hopefully he'll get sacked tomorrow. There's a new conference.
Inter mangagers in Munich today to talk a Shaqiri transfer (2mil loan plus 13mil buyout-option). Hope we finally sell this guy, hate his attitude and ego **** on the pitch.
13 mio. is a joke...he should be worth much, much more. We really sell the players for relatively little money, compared to some of the crazy prices elsewhere in the world (I was just on holiday and there was this guy Axel Witsel in the same resort, I looked him up and saw that he was transferred for 40 mio. Euro...seriously?!)
Witsel had that weird transfer to Russia, yea. Regarding Shaqiri, I don't know. Would've agreed a year ago, but when the guy cosntantly plays like utter trash 15mil sounds okay to me. Glad some club even wants to pay for him.
Bet they Dynamo wish they had an owner who could bring talent like that in from across the pond...........................................
Yes!! Elections at Can Barca at end of season.. Welcome back Laporta, hopefully he comes with a competent board and coach.
He's trying to bring Pep back as sporting director (I think pep is too talented and young for that role). But Laporta oversaw Barca's greatest teams, esp. Pep's era where they won 14 of the possible 19 cups. Lucho needs to start doing some work. It starts tomorrow v. Elche. Madrid's finally slowing down, but Athletico is now gaining steam. After Elche, they face Athletico. This month is going to be crazy in Liga.
According to BILD, Inter now willing to directly buy Shaq for 18mil, no loan. Hope it goes through today.
