    The Rockets will get through this. Right now, it's kind of a perfect storm:

    1)I don't believe Dwight is healthy. A few games ago, he asked McHale to play him in spurts. If he'll admit to that on TV, you know it's worse than anyone is letting on.

    2)The team is having to rebuild chemistry with the new additions.

    3)The refs aren't giving Harden any calls. I believe they're punishing him for all the arm flailing. I think Harden has recognized that and I haven't noticed him doing it much lately. Since ref crews are different every night, they're going off of reputation and still not giving him calls.

    4)When you rely on the 3 as much as we do, there are going to be times where we go cold. It's a higher variance style of play, but still mathematically correct. It's like an aggressive poker player in a tournament. He'll get knocked out of the tournament before tighter players frequently and will have more instances of running bad, but over the long haul, he will likely be a much more profitable player than tighter players.

    I was going to add something about free throws, but I think we all need to accept that that's just who we are.
