Critical thinking is a one day class as best you know? Yeesh. It explains a lot, though. I know, right?
Part of critical thinking is being able to identify sarcasm. Re-read. Then re-read again. It could really do you some good.
And to pre-empt your stupid response, I realize I should not have entered into conversation with you. Spoiler
When you start calling people stupid, you do so because you don't have a valid argument and the only thing you have left is to make fun of the other person, calling them stupid to take the heat off yourself.
No it's not rigged, but like in most sports there are very poor quality refs. And the worst part is that it's very very hard to fire them without some sort of scandal just because of how strong their union is
My valid argument was that that poster does not practice critical thinking. Instead of a well thought out response, the poster spewed out the first childish comeback that came to his head. That is stupidity.
While I agree with your overall point about them using critical thinking, especially when it comes to ethics once you start calling each other stupid it ruins the thread. Trust me I know, lol.
Stupidity is assuming that half-assed sarcasm works when read. If you have to read and re-read... it's not clear, smart guy. Back to the subject though, I imagine the NBA manipulates the game as much as fans will allow.
So far, your "argument" consists of a link to Wikipedia and a picture. You're about two steps away from doodling with a crayon on a drool soaked Chuck E Cheese placemat.
Here's a fun read. Section 7 specifically. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nation...ion_criticisms_and_controversies#Conspiracies
For the 75% that believe the NBA is rigged, does that mean you also believe the Rockets championship in 1994 and 1995 were also rigged for them to win?
Lol what? How is asking a simple question a deductive fallacy? What fallacy have I committed? And for that matter, what deduction have I made?
it's funny how no matter the sport, i always hate the refs after my team loses. rockets, arsenal, ucla, doesn't matter it's a conspiracy against my team. it's not that they just sucked.
