Dmo did what the play designs for him to do. It's not his fault that the Rockets are too scared to offend Howard by making him the number one option in the post. I am sure if it were up to Dmo he'd be fighting for position every single play to get a good shot in the paint.

The guy is automatic yet we choose to play him in the perimeter to fit our stupid 3 philosophy.

I actually agree you on this.

McHale needs to yell at the ref sometime to protect his players.

    He almost never do this.

Harden didn't bother with defense tonight.
Ariza couldn't catch a ball to save his life. I lost count how many lose balls bounced off of his hands straight to a Chicago player for an easy layup.
Down the stretch, McHale couldn't come up with anything better than Harden iso on the offensive end, and didn't have a clue how to guard the Rose-Gasol pick and pop on the defensive end. A really nice guy, though.
The reason there were so many Josh Smith 3s at the end was that whoever guarding him was just crowding the lane on the harden isos, leaving Smith open. If Harden iso is McHale's meat and butter for crunch time (god forbid), at least put K-Pap in at 4 to stretch the floor and open up the lane a bit for Harden...

He never gets techs or calls out the officials. He's a cheap b*stard. Van Gundy had his deficiencies as a coach at times, but the dude took a 100 grand hit for his players in that Dallas series.

The refs did not screw the Rockets at the end of the game when they decided to stop playing D and completely fail at executing on O. But its just easier to act like we just got hosed by the refs and blame them for the loss.

What they did was fabricated by the refs the whole game by not calling fouls in the paint for the Rockets and calling BS offensive fouls against the Rockets. The refs essentially made the Rockets a jump shooting team.

He did indicate extended disapproval of a ref's call on at least one play. It seems like that one ref was making the majority of the bad calls, no?

Only silver lining is if we play like we did tonight for the rest of the season, we are going to be a top 3 seed.

The Rockets got screwed for the first 42 minutes. They screwed themselves in the final 6. We can complain all night about those 42 minutes, but where are basketball games won? At the end.

You're up 5 with less than 5 minutes to go, you need to finish. And as someone who's watched the NBA for nearly a quarter century, I can say with confidence that the refs will try to make up for the free throw disparity in the final minutes to take the spotlight off of their incompetence(or gambling). But only if you attack the damn basket.

Want him traded honestly, think Brewer is more than capable of being a starter.

Don't know if we can get lucky twice though.

    Alright twice.

The third time was a garbage time whistle, curiously enough on a Harden drive something they swallowed their whistle on ALL night...
