Should I even watch the NBA anymore after this bull****? Will the refs and more importantly the heads of the NBA (I know you're still out there Stern) ever let Houston win another championship ever again? As I ponder these questions, I think I need to take a break from watching the games. Sports just isn't important enough. In the end it's just entertainment, meant for the pleasure of the masses. Certainly the fans in Houston don't matter to the rest of the NBA.
Actually, the rockets only received 3FT attempts almost the entire game. It wasn't until the last 4 minutes of the game, when they gave Harden the 2 FT at the end. Refs were bad.
The refs plainly did not do a good job tonight. Probably influenced by Chicago's fans a bit. I don't want to say that the fix was in but man that was a crazy disparity considering our points in the paint and the number of shots we took. Butler's defense on Harden was alright, but he was being given a lot of leeway to do so. ON that charge he drew from Harden, he wasn't set at all. He was moving with Harden. On the other end, Harden gently touches Gasol's eyelash on a jumpshot and the Bulls are back on the line. Pretty ridiculous. Frustrating game.
There's no need to find words or bury our players for this loss (or even refs). All you have to say is McFail.
Ariza and Dwight have to be my most disliked players on this team. Ariza's shot selection all season has been terrible, and Dwight is just frustrating on both ends...
I'm not saying the refs weren't bad. They were. That offensive foul call on Harden late in the 4th was a joke and a huge momentum swing. But look at what Harden did on every other possession. Just stand around whether he had the ball or not. Did anyone ever come out to set a pick? Did anyone drive to the hoop and kick it out to an open shooter without waiting til there were only 3 seconds left? Did they post up D-Mo or Howard? The Rockets didn't give the refs a chance to make it up to them in the last 6 minutes of the game. They reverted to ISO ball and chucking 3's. The exact opposite of what allowed them to score so many points in the previous 42 minutes. Again, this goes back to coaching. McHale never called a timeout to get control of his team until they'd already squandered the lead and then found themselves down 4.
the world hates houston and houston sports. dallas gets some questionable calls. the rockets don't get any calls.. it's just this city's luck
It's not the refs fault we cant play D anymore. Its not the refs fault we are a horrible shooting team. Its no the refs fault we are a low IQ team. Stop blaming the refs after every loss.
yep this was one of those games that make me question watching the nba... rockets played hard, and the refs just wouldnt let them have it
Either people don't know how many free throws we had compared to the Bulls or people commentating are dumb as hell and didn't watch the game.
