It was a good game, Bulls played their best, Rockets did't fire on all cylinders .but the we could have our chances Josh was't bad, but DMo was the better effective Big. harden 2nd half was a bit lost, actually he played like Lin somehow . Batik came a live finally, a bit too aggressive though
Refs. Simple as that. Such an unevenly-called game. Jump shots? Firstly, we made a ton of points in the paint. Secondly, why take it to the hole when you won't get the call? Refs dictated the outcome of this game, and it's a gotdamn shame. The notion that playoff games are called differently, superstar/benefit-of-the-doubt calls exist insist that basketball is not called by the rules. This game is tainted. It is a HUGE issue for true fans of the game.
Noah constantly barges into people with no calls, but any contact from a Rocket and he flops to floor with rewards from the refs.
I can't wait for the NBA to send out a notice that the refs missed some calls, then leave it be. When we are fighting to home court, this is will be a game that hurts to look back on.
Dwight is a gutless wonder. I don't buy that he is injured at all....he's a no effort, stand around and watch nookie...if that's injured then O.K. The game doesn't mean enough to him. He's interested in drawing a paycheck and that's about it. He's not on a mission to win a championship for sure.
Calvin blasting the refs. Well deserved. This game was as close to rigged as I've seen in a long time
I assure you each of the majority of the commenters in this thread is not an 'itdiot'... but I do agree with you. It would be ideal if we had some midrange operational capabilities, with another wing who can drive and pull up for midrange shots, or as someone mentioned, with a 4 who can stretch the floor. We don't navigate very well inside the paint in terms of slashing/driving (shoddy/shaky ballhandling & passing); obviously it's hard to do against such a tall interior defense that the Bulls had/have. And... also, we had season high in points scored in the paint, so that weakens your argument & my sentiment a lot. I still agree it's something that would be ideal to address. Side note, also didn't feel very confident with Terry in at times; just a tad bit too slow. Obviously appreciate the 3s he added.
6 3 point attempts by D-Mo and Josh Smith in the 4th quarter is just so ****ing dumb. The refs were not good but you have to get better possessions than that. That is on McHale.
We only got fouled once and the other was a technical. That foul on Harden was when the game was over. We shot 2 fts tonight when it mattered.
It wasn't Josh Smith's fault Harden passed him the ball on the 3 pt line. It was Hardens. It wasn't Smith's fault he was in the game. It was Mchale's. Smith is a known commodity. He is what he is. For some reason the organization wants him to be something he isn't.
smith loves bringing the ball up the court past the mid court line, i mean for christsakes give the ball to a guard
This game was won by 1 team not being called for many fouls and being able to shoot too many fts. How in world do the Rockets score 62 pts in the paint and only goes to the ft line for 3 fts plus the last two that were in the last seconds of the game.
