How hard can it possibly be for Dork Elvis and Milk Hair to stop this abomination?

Donatas is FANTASTIC in the post. He is a career 27% 3-point shooter...

Smoove is FANTASTIC rolling to the rim. He is a career 27% 3-point shooter...

Why are we consistently incapable of keeping it simple?

(Otherwise, our PF crew combined for 37 points, 12 boards, 5 assists, 4 steals and 1 block on 18-34 from the field)

If Coach tells you to patrol the arc and shoot a three if you are open, you shoot.

As long as they're wide open looks, don't take em.

Can't fault JSmith taking those last 2 three point attempts when the game was pretty much decided. Shot selection on the others were hit and miss.

We're what we are, what do you expect. That end was predictable. 4 3s by two terrible 3pt shooters, two turnovers, any high % shots, basically. It was expectable, like we look ridiculous any time we play a tied end against a real competitive team. The other team always looks smarter, more confident and better prepared. Preparation, leadership, McHale.

i dont midn them taking threes but they should should be limited to two threes a game. combined 1-7 tonight even though both shot the ball well.

How can you blame DMo when he dont get pass in post? When he gets plays in post we know good things happening, but usally he still must strech the floor

Dmo I believe really doesn't want to be on the perimeter, but Mchale does.. Josh on the other hand wants to be on the perimeter.. However Mchale refuses to utilize Dmo consistently through out the game.

That was a sign of DoMo being tired. He looked like he was gasping a little right before he got replaced by Smith. Noah was battling him hard after being abused by DoMo earlier.

It doesn't matter. Smith is a force on the pick and roll, and when he is in that should be the extent of his offense. McHale needs to utilize him as such, and Donuts needs at LEAST 10 post ups a game...

Every time DMo or Smith hoist away from deep I just cringe, that **** ain't going in. The rare times they do I just shake my head.

Make a below average 3 point shooter hoist 3s, bench him for an even worse shooter in Smith, have him hoist 3s.

I totally agree. Mchale is a master at having players play to there weakness rather than there strengths. Usually thats the job of the opposing coach to figure out, but Mchale does it for them lol

DMo stopped going down low when Noah started playing physical.. He has to learn to absorb that pounding, once the defender sees you don't like the physical play, they're going to take it up a couple of notches...

Samuel Dalembert waived by Knicks. That's a nice backup C. Get rid of Smith and bring Terrance back

This is just the flawed Rox philosophy, to hoist 3s. I'm surprised Dwight doesn't jack up some 3s in this system. This is what Morey wants the identity of this team to be. 3s and layups. They have a legit post player in Dmo but instead of going to him when the going got tough, they had him out there jacking 3s as well. Its a joke.

Don't get me wrong, DMo shouldn't be taking anything but corner 3s, but lets stop acting like the 3s DMo takes and the 3s Smith takes are the same thing. Smith took 5 3s to Dmos 2. DMo's 2 were wide open near the end of the shot clock. At least 2 of Smith's were pretty early in the clock. Apples to Oranges.
