    Isn't the point of this now-laughable thread that the president has no control over gas prices? To suggest that a single member of the House had any influence over declining oil prices is both self-congratulatory and delusional.

    How is the world's greatest job creator, Rick Perry, going to look with $50 oil?
    He spewed a lot of hubris at $100. That rapid uptick in job growth is going to fall off just as fast.

    I was proven right in this very thread.

    Gasoline is low DESPITE Obama right now. You can thank the innovation from the US shale producers for the price today. Obama's actions to limit drilling and his foolish knee-jerk actions after Macondo proved me right. I love it when this thread is resurrected so I get to see how correct I was, again.
