One thing -- I too would like to see Canaan in the regular rotation. The more we can limit Jet's minutes, the better, I'd think. Especially after ASB.
I'm perplexed by why Canaan is not at all in the rotation. I thought this was hashed out before he rolled his ankle and missed a handful of games. Canaan and Terry should both be playing, Terry's minutes should be decreased.
Look how Happy Dwight is for JSmooth....I think he was feeling the pressure of his buddy struggling too. DD
Yeah no doubt but haven't we won against top teams without Howard and Jones missed all but what 2 games. Plus Beverley missed a chunk of games as well. So CrashTheBoards how about sharing the same love for the Rockets. We haven't played with our full deck . We also have seen what 9-10 different starting lineups.
Indeed Ms. Lady. I really don't understand why Mchale took him out the rotation. Canaan was playing solid before the injury. Morey I know you are on here , so tell Mchale to give this man some PT.
This is why Dwight annoys me. He had this in him but had no motivation to do it until we get blown out by the Pelicans. It shouldnt take a blow out for you to bring your game you should bring it regardless the day, weather, or team.
Good win. Hard to get too excited since the Heat suck, but a win is a win. Interested to see how we fare on this road trip, we'll see if we are actually playing better or if it was just a one game thing. If Smith keeps playing decently, he will make it tough on McHale when Jones gets back. I'm thinking Howard/Smith DMo/Jones Ariza/Brewer Harden/Brewer Beverley/Terry wonder how that would look. Or if Jones gets back to early season form we could do a front court rotation of Howard/DMo Jones/Smith maybe. Smith might fall out of the rotation if he isn't consistent enough.
I was at the game. That was a whole lot of fun! The rotation looked pretty good. D-Mo starting and Kostas getting on the floor were both pretty big. I loved how the bigs got rotated in a way in which they were always fresh. The guard rotation looked pretty tight too. Josh Smith took a few ill advised shots but mostly played within the flow of the offense and hustled and made some things happen defensively. Brewer kept Brewing. Ariza was a defensive beast even if he's still cold on the offensive end. Howard looked great. The team that played tonight could do a lot of damage in the playoffs. I hope they stick around.
I liked seeing Kostas and Canaan get more playing time. Josh and Dwight looked like they were back at AAU. They answered the last blow out by returning the favor to the Heat tonight but there's some tougher competition against the Bulls on Monday. There's the Cavs game on Wedneday that's going to be on ESPN too. I'm celebrating with some fro yo and staying cautiously optimistic.
Redemption given the previous days performance. DMo has to start over Smith. The ball needs to be passed into Howard more often (like we started doing in the 2nd) Nice to see Papa and Canaan get minutes - hope to see that continue
Nice to see Dwight post up, pass the ball back out, re-post, and score. Nice change of pace instead of Dwight forcing something that would ultimately ended in a brick or a TO.
