Floyd has fallen off more than manny in recent years which is something given the nature of how pacquiao got put to sleep against Marquez. Dude took the second maidana fight to prove he could dominate him but it just ended up the same

Pretty cool how the Trout fight is taking place at Pechanga Indian Casino.. I wanted to go but cant get off work early enough today to avoid traffic. Best fight of the weekend is probably Khan vs Alexander. Bradley should whooop chaves who couldnt beat punching bag Rios
Khan looked pretty impressive. To make Alexander look so ineffective was surprising. I was thrown off by the Bradley/Chaves decision. I only watched it once, but I thought Bradley won pretty easily. I didn't watch the Stevenson fight, and didn't even know he was fighting until the day before. I guess I know why, since it was a joke of a fight.
Al Haymon for ya. Khan looked very fast. Dude still gives opportunities for those willing to trade with him but he controlled the distance and boxed the hell outta Alexander.

Devon Alexander has always been a terrible big-game fighter. Being him isn't all that impressive in my book as he hasn't won 1 big fight that he has been in.
So "The Fight" stalling in talks again from what news is hitting the enterwebz. I don't want to believe that Floyd is scared of losing his "0," but I would have thought the fight would be almost done seeing how they both were talking. Then again, Floyd told the people to choose his next opponent with Khan and Maidana. Most of the articles are calling Floyd out this time. Don't know what is true and what is straight commentary though.
Floyd & Pac will get it on this year. I'm calling it. Floyd is ready to get it done and he knows it is now or never.
lol. he doesnt care, seriously. this is why: he doesn't even want to give Pacquiao 40m. The issue here is say that he gives Pac 40m, versus what Pacquiao made against Algeri TAX FREE in Macau at 25m. When reports of the fight generating silly money its rediculous that Pac take that. He said it has to be on showtime, duh, his showtime contract nets him all the ppv. the dude flat out just does not want to fight pacquiao. He agreed to the drugtesting, agreed to give floyd the greater split, yet nothing got done, be it fear of Paquiao or hatred for Arum. Floyd has atg talent, would probably beat him by SD/UD, but the everyone will remember how he ducked Pacquiao, and even if he fights him now, the asteriks will be that he waited and waited until he got KTFO by Marquez.
I don't envy Floyd's current position. He's getting called out, so he has to fight, right? If he doesn't, it will be the first thing mentioned when speaking of his legacy. If he does, he is taking on all the risk. His "0" is at risk. His legacy is at risk if he loses. If he wins, he was "supposed" to, right? High risk, low reward...well, 'cept the money. It's probably why he's most likely making ridiculous demands. I don't know what demands those are in detail, but if I were in his position, I would make sure I get paid like a mug. I want him to make the fight, but I understand his hesitance. Manny has everything to gain, and little to lose. His legacy is already set, and can only get greater with a victory over Floyd. If he doesn't get the fight, they'll say Floyd was scared of him which in the eyes of the public, might as well be a win for Manny.
Manny Pacquiao’s Adviser Mike Koncz Gives End of January Deadline For Floyd Mayweather Jr. To Accept Fight http://****************/articles/57...ather-manny-pacquiao-koncz-deadline-super.htm
The fact that Manny is calling the shots now only means this fight ain't ever going to happen. Potential super-fight of the earth has now become just a figment of an imagination. Oh well,
HUGE boxing news this past weekend. First, Gary Shaw Promotions merged with Jay-Z/Roc Nation Sports. Roc Nation will be absorb their roster, including Andre Ward and Bryant Jennings. Roc Nation also offered a 5yr/$40M contract to Adrian Broner and he said **** Jay-Z lol Secondly, Golden Boy and Al Haymon official split. Golden Boy will be losing a lot of their fighters who are leaving with Haymon. Lastly, there appears to be "progress made" between the Pacquiao vs Mayweather negotiations. Supposedly they have agreed on fight location and drug testing. Floyd wants 60/40 split and Manny is okay with it. Next 7-10 days are said to be key and its possible there will be an announcement by the end of the month. http://www.latimes.com/sports/sport...r-manny-pacquiao-progress-20150109-story.html
