so many of the same complaints i saw fromlast year lol. when will you guys ever be happy with what you got?
This is going to be really ugly once we play on national TV, they are going to be pissing all over Harden, Howard, Smith & Morey (of which only Harden should be excused!). All those double-digit comebacks should've been a sign for McHale and the coaching staff, instead they kept going with a short rotation, the same strategy of free style hoisting threes until you die offense and not holding players accountable. I've said it once and I'll say it again: I cannot wait for McHale & Howard to go and now they can take Josh Smith and Morey with them!
He's doing a decent job funneling them into the paint where Dwight and Josh let them get easy layups. DWIGHT is our anchor and he needs to step tf up.
They need to go back to the mentality they had before the season. Defense. Nothing else. Just go all out on defense. F everything else. That works, when things go bad and your shot isn't working...that works. Defense will always be there as long as you are prepared and ready to play it.
McFail - I don't understand this coach. You find D-Mo as a great offensive option. And BAMM you don't use it anymore. Morey - J.Smith? Really?
Dwight with knee issues = a minus on the court. Josh Smith freestyling = a minus on the court. Tired Ariza = Minus Ariza My solution: 1) Sit Dwight until he's more comfortable with the knee. If it doesn't happen, sit him indefinitely until playoffs if need be. 2) If we can't bench Josh, play DMO and Josh together in the starting lineup instead. 3) Give Papa Minutes at the backup 4 again, give Corey minutes at the backup 2/3. 4) Bench Bev at times in favor of Canaan. Let Bev get his rhythm back off the bench. Do the same for Terry, give Nick Johnson time if need be.
How about sitting the players that are underperforming and give some young guys a chance? When is T. Jones returning. Trade for Goran. Where is Capella? Mix things up. Fine players for excessive partying, i.e. not being ready to play. I actually see a some serious coaching issues. This team needs discipline, structure, and serious accountability. If you want to play, you have to be "ready" to play, otherwise, you sit and watch.
Can't argue with those solutions. I believe this team is much better than it has been showing this past week or so. Need to mix it up.
It's not the end of the world like people are making it out to be but there are some changes that need to be made. While I think he is VASTLY overrated on the board Dmo needs to be inserted into the starting line up as well has Cannan. I love Bev but having him and Ariza on the floor at the same time bricking everything is killing us. I also think Smith is getting a terrible case of scapegoat. This isnt his fault. He obviously has to share some of the blame but it's far from his fault. He needs to come off the bench. He can be very valuable there. He still brings a lot to the table. A Bev Brewer Smith bench IMO will produce. I highly doubt any of these changes happen so lets just hope they turn it on. Dwight is my biggest issue. Idk if he is hurt or what but he clearly isnt trying very hard. If he gives it 100% that will fix a lot of our problems.
**** the refs. **** Ariza and his horrible offence. It is so bad it literally cancels any positives on the other end. **** Smith. **** Jimmy Butler and Gasol. Flopping b****es.
Nice post. Motiejunas and Smith were FANTASTIC outside of those late threes, which is more on McHale, and even Morey, imo.
5 mins left in the 4th. Harden iso the whole time. Bev played like Sam cassel making those midrange jumpers, more of this. Howard was decent but we weren't going to run a play for him. This was our win. Harden crumbles too easily
Yeah the officiating was garbage...this would have been a big win for us! I am just frustrated because we are slipping in the west, which isn't good
Chicago give up the second most free throws in the league........how is that possible based on tonight's evidence
