Okay, I am sure you saw KlutchQT point out how you're wrong (and thank you KlutchQT for always having factual evidence to back up everyone's posts), but DD do you always like being ****ing wrong just to argue with me? So far every time I post something that is backed up you call me out on it, wth??? It's like you like trying to make me look stupid and then you're wrong... I don't get it. I mean I have watched the Rockets for a long freaking time... and sometimes I might get lazy on posting evidence (thank you again, KlutchQT and others), but I know for the most part I am speaking with what I know and have seen. I sometimes wonder if you even watch the same basketball team.
Useless data and misleading. Smith has played the bulk of those minutes with the only playmaker Mchale has in his rotation. DMo hasn't.
Why do people ever reference +/-? That stat more than anything else needs quite a bit of context to be relevant.
look at what Josh Smith has done in his career. He just needs to adapt to our system, play good defense and not force his shots.
Smith is making the team lose. And he's not better than D-Mo currently. You'll have to do better than +/- to show me otherwise. I think the team's percentage with Smith becoming starter is .25. Meanwhile with D-Mo as starter it is ~.67 So, gee, I don't know. Making competent arguments must be hard.
It's great how GARM always clamors for a trade/acquisition, and then when it doesn't pay instant dividends they complain. Of course their solution to this is to make another trade. ANY major trade/acquisition during the season is going to cause an adjustment period. The teams that make blockbuster deals during the season usually regress, despite the hype after the trade about how it will surely vault them into title contention.
Josh is not a bad player, but he needs to change his mindset. It seems to be effecting the starters too. Go back to playing defense. Seriously. We were winning with Tarik Black starting. Defense is the first priority. Great job by McHale pulling the starters.
The addition of multiple players in a short period of time is making the team lose. Who cares about currently? Do you want to win the next game or do you want to win the championship? For someone so far up Morey's ass you sure do a bad job of promoting his philosophy here.
Yes, that is correct, it all coincides with Dwight coming back and then Smith - screwing up the chemistry. DD
It isn't just Josh. The Rockets lost 2/3 games right before we signed him. It started when Dwight came back, but I can't blame Dwight. We won so many games before that simply because Harden took over games and played unwordly. I just want 1 role player, 1 guy outside of Harden and Howard to be a reliable 10-15 point scorer per night. Everyone talks about 4th and 5th options, but this team barely has a second (Dwight). You guys can't count D-Mo because he stopped getting his touches. Who is our third scorer?
What? No, I acknowledged the chemistry was nerfed as corrected, but now it has gotten even worse since we inserted Smith. DD
