When I saw morey had been hot on smith summer we got Howard and basically over looking millsapp, I realized he either doesn't know how to build a team or LES just wants big names to sell tickets

We all got too damned high on Josh Smith. He was CUT with $27 million still left on his contract. You have to be playing pretty damned pathetically for that to happen. If it seems too good to be true, it is!

Ariza still provides a lot for this team on defense which is exponentially better than Parsons. The problems this team have are fully: Patrick Beverley, Josh Smith, and Dwight Howard related.

Ariza shooting bricks can be compensated for. But our pg is beyond horrible at most facets of the game except mindless energy play. Our center looks hurt. And Smith ruined team chemistry by affecting the contributions of too many guys, namely D-Mo and Papa.

    Not all of us.

    Some of us were told:

"Oh we can just cut him TEEHEEHEE"
"Oh but like D-Mo will be focal point of second unit Derp Derp Derp"
"Josh Smith is still the player he was in 2010 zomg!!!"

Oh yeah guys. That definitely seems to be the case.

Just kidding...knew that wouldn't be the case.

Sorry but Parsons does not have heart. He overachieved as a 2nd rounder but his heart is gone when he entered his second year.

He became a douche and a 1 way player.

I liked our team better when we had all those injuries cuz we were playing with energy and heart...this new team is so lazy because everyone thinks the other player will pick up the slack

and for less than a million dollars he'd be on our team playing better basketball than Ariza is at around $7 million.

Smith should be gone, I would give him a few more games though. If he continues to suck, then just cut him. We will be okay when Jones gets back.

    Howard/DMo
    Jones/DMo
    Ariza/Brewer
    Harden/Terry
    Beverley/Canaan

And dammit, play Canaan! We need some ****ing shooting.

Go all in for Dragic at the deadline, we need another shot creator on the team, especially with Dwight's decline.

So was Harden last year. But Parsons was a great defender his first year, so I suspect a commitment to it as a team would have made them better - and Parsons is so much better than Ariza as a basketball player, adds so much more.

Ariza is a superior defender but everything else Parsons is better at doing.

But that is spilled milk, we have what we have now, we have a team that relies on layups and 3pters who have a bunch of guys who suck at layups and 3pters.

Seems someone forgot their own philosophy.

Since pistons cut smith, they are 4-0 with all games being double digit wins

It is funny in a way.

    1. Just a month ago, Beverley was the darling of the board. He played in your face defense. He hit his 3s. Who else would fit better next to Harden? Now many posters say that Bev is one of the glaring problems.

    2. Just a few weeks ago, McHale was said to be a candidate for COY. He was great at developing young players. Players respected him. They now bought into playing great defense. Now he's back to McFail again.

    3. Just a week ago, Morey was the almighty. He exchanged the superior Ariza for that turd Parsons. He got us Corey the Savior Brewer for next to nothing. Then he scooped up the unthinkable signing of the year getting JSmoove for peanuts. "Are we the favorite now?" Well, we now have an unwatchable starting lineup.

We have a team that hoist 3 after 3, yet no good 3 point shooters. Might as well be a wasted possession.

Then the defense...oh man the defense...

I completely agree except I think unwatchable is putting it way too nicely.

Everybody has their own hidden agenda's....

The problem with the starters is them playing as a team... No passing, no back cuts, everybody standing around on offense..

no team defense, Harden back to his old ways of playing defense... Not doing anything as a team.. The starters should be relying on the fact that they the defensive team... on offense, they have to pass and cut... the only person on that starting five with a consistent 3 point shot is Harden.. Ariza should be cutting more and so should Bev. Josh and Howard should be playing more of a high low (just as Asik and Davis, and many others).... The starters are not equipped to run a spread out kick out to the 3 shooters.

The second team is more of a run gun team and they have at least 2 players that can shoot from the 3 Terry and Brewer...

These guys need to understand their role and right now they are from it.

Trevor Ariza attempts the most 3-pointers per game in the league.

Yet he's only shooting 31% from 3. Yuck.

And only 27% for the month of December... gross.

Though I always support Morey. I never thought of Mchale as nothing but a mediocre coach and Bev as a cheap rental until we find a better pg. Sure he is better than Jeremy Lin but that doesn't mean he should be an NBA starter.

Unless we play the Warriors or Blazers, i think Beverly should come off the bench and have Canaan start.
