Dwight shoots in the post just like he shoots free throws...he just throws it up there sometimes. If it isn't a dunk or a point blank layup he rarely makes it. I didn't realize he was such a poor post player before coming to the Rockets. The op is right in that he slows down the offense. He receives the entry pass and usually one player will make a cut and then everyone stands around and watches. I compare it to a pitcher in baseball that can't throw strikes and the position players lose focus due to the game being so slow. IMO he needs to be an opportunistic scorer meaning offensive rebound put backs, finisher after a good drive by someone else, alley oops... but only the occasional post up. He also needs to keep his arm close to his body when banging. He is being called for pushing fouls far too often. I would guess Dmo's numbers are considerably better now (before Josh) compared to the beginning of the season. He was becoming very efficient and now rarely sees the ball. I'm sure the guys will figure it out with some practices (hopefully).
I really hate the fact that Papa is getting 0 playing time. He was a part of our great early play. It's ridiculous he doesn't get any PT
That's the trade off we get from adding Brewer and Smith. Just isn't time for him. Add in the fact that he looked bad coming off his injury and that's why he doesn't get any PT. Wouldn't be surprised to see him go at the deadline.
I am frustrated at fans leaning forward in their seats the whole game. In stadium seating, if you are leaning forward you are obstructing the view behind you. Lean back in your god damned seat! Rant over.
What frustrates me is that Curry will most likely win MVP because this team is such a ****ing disaster outside of Harden. Dwight - STOP TRYING TO POST UP & ACCEPT THE FACT THAT HARDEN IS THE MAN! Ariza - STOP TRYING TO BE T MAC, JUST STAND AT THE 3 POINT LINE AND SHOOT (AND IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU STOPPED SUCKING AT THAT)! Smith - STOP SHOOTING ****ING JUMPERS! McHale - HOLD THESE GUYS ACCOUNTABLE, AND MAKE THEM ACCEPT THEIR ROLES!

Josh Smith has really negatively effected the starting lineup IMHO. With DMo out there, he at least keeps the ball moving and gets other players involved. Josh Smith is taking bad shots and turning it over. I really hope Smith will be receptive to McHale when he is asked to come off the bench. He needs to earn his way back into the starting lineup.
BUT HE'S BETTER THAN PARSONS, RIGHT!!! RIGHT??? give me a break. team blew itself up chasing Bosh. had a really nice 3 to return at a realllllyyy reasonable price. decided to chase Bosh. lost. bottom line business.
Please don't get me started - I mean, again, if you are trying to win it all, you KEEP YOUR TALENTED players - and by keep I mean keep him at under 1m...and don't make him restricted unless you plan to match. Morey makes more hits than misses, but he misses BIG at times - and all of this turnover is screwing up the team - you just can't get chemistry with all this turnover. DD
I'm less frustrated than I am confused. I know teams have their rough spots, but this is ridiculous. Players look tired, confused, lacking energy, and rotations are just weird with these new guys coming in or coming back from injury. It's like they literally stopped trying. Not all of em. I see hustle from Harden, Dmo, Beverly, Brewer....but the rest....not so much. Sheesh!
The Rockets are so mind-numbingly terrible right now. I wish I could stop watching them but I can't. They are driving me to drink so I can even fall asleep at night after a game. Even their wins have been terrible lately. Ariza suck, bev sucks, smith sucks, howard sucks. No one outside of harden can even remotely shoot the ball. Meanwhile, bench players on other teams look like ray allen compared to our players.
