I'll be at the game tomorrow.

I hope McHale starts the bench.

It's also not the mark of a contender, either. It's getting old.

Let's not pretend Detroit has 4 straight wins against elite teams. The only significant one was Cleveland and they just suck right now.

I don't think that Cousins would fit in the teams 3pt offense and Anthony Davis is not a center and gets handled by big men. Howard is still the best Center in the game. He's just not putting much effort. I don't know if he's waiting for the playoffs or he's injured. But I do know that the ball goes to a guy that always misses 3s before Howard can get any touches.

If McHale really wants to send a message, he needs to change the starting lineup tomorrow night. Even if it risks a loss against the Heat, make a real statement by benching guys when the score is 0-0 rather than when they've already spotted the Pelicans a 25+ point lead.

I'm also in the camp that Smith needs to be out there with the second unit. If he doesn't like it then too bad. Keep him home if he's going to cause locker room problems.

Come on, give Smith a little break.

He actually played a bit better now with the bench. 2 good postup's, his block was decent. Not so atrociously bad as the others today.

The reason why we lost 3/4 are very clear: Our best shooters are playing terrible: Bev, Ariza, Terry, and now even Brewer isn't hitting it anymore. Howard starts awful and needs time to get into the game.

Our only current assets are now Harden, DMo and Dorsey. Even Brewer out hurts.

No effort at all on defense.

James Harden is still young enough to carry us through the Howard and Josh Smith (1 year) tenure.

We should have gotten Lowry. But yeah hindsight.

    Fk Bosh, fk Parsons!

I sincerely hope Morey and Les put their egos aside for 5 seconds and consider letting Dwight walk in 2016 if this recent stretch doesn't turn out to be an aberration. He's not worth a 100+ mil extension. Save that caproom and go get one or two other quality borderline All-Stars instead.

If we continue to play in recently style, we will be a lottery team

How many more years do we have before we start worrying about Harden looking to go somewhere else?

I think Morey is smart enough to do it but Les may want to keep him.

Bill and Bull said they weren't prepared to play, were lackadaisical, no passion. I say you could forgive this type game if it was just an aberration but it's not. This is alarmingly becoming a prolonged slide. DH12 is supposed to be your team leader and his body language and effort wouldn't inspire anyone. I was elated when we got him but it is becoming apparent that winning is not important enough to DH12. Very immature...everything's a joke.

Dwight reminds me of a front running player, a guy who is awesome when things are going his way, but when challenged backs down.

He is a good center, but no longer is he dominant - and I think most of that is because he just doesn't care enough to be dominant.

A lot to pick at tonight: Dwight's lackadaisical effort. Smith's cluelessness. The banishment of D-Mo to the bench, which McHale at least tried to correct early in the game.

But don't sleep on the importance of one recent problem for the Rockets: Ariza and Beverley's coincidental slumps. Team needs both of them to hit 3s at a decent clip, and right now neither is.

If HOWARD AND JOSH can make the playoffs and play well then I think it is worth it.

Otherwise I am not sure about their future here.
