I'm kinda surprised Lechler didn't get at least a couple of votes.
All pro is a big deal. It's not the pro-bowl. No other Texan could ever make a case at being the "best" at their position this year, thus it's not surprising nobody else got votes.
Watt was a 1st team DE and a 2nd team DL. Wonder if that's ever happened for anyone at any 2 positions
It's strange that fullback is still a position that gets voted on, given that they are part-time players that some teams don't even employ. The Texans don't have any other A level talent on the team, other than Watt. A bunch of good-but-not-great players but really no other stars at this point.
Brian Anger got a vote at punter. Chandler Catanzaro got a vote at kicker. Seven players got votes at center. So, yes, I'm surprised no other Texan got votes.
Who cares about token votes? We know Lechler is quality. Not what he used to be, but still better than average. Don't need AP votes to justify it.
It is slightly ridiculous that he didn't get 1st team on both. He is so much better than Suh or Dareus.
The same voter can't put him in twice on the same ballot. Half of the voters would have to put him at DE and the other half to put him at DT for him to be 1st team on both.
