i just dont see mariota having success unless he is drafted by the eagles, this gimmick offense will get shut down quickly in the nfl.... chip kelly is starting to be figured out
Marriotta looks good in this offense like Sanchez and Nick Foles look good in the Kelly offense. I feel Winston is a little bit more of the traditional pro-style QB that could probably adapt to any system. Marriota will have to have a system similar to what he's been running to have initial success.
Figures that Titans fans have to congregate here to get decent discussion points... is there even a Titans message board? Man, how far has that franchise fallen since moving. Anyways, back to the game... I really think Winston's personal issues will be smoothed out prior to the draft, and if not, that can only help his chances to slip to the Texans.
2 things about the game 1st: Baylor had "Chris Johnson" yards ex: Chris Johnson rushes 20 for 100 yds most would say good game then you look at what the rushes were 19 for 10 and 1 rush for 90. Is that a good game? Outside the 4th qtr Baylor did not look like they could sustain a drive unless they had a huge play (hence most of the game). 2nd I need to see defense at least do something, did Baylor do anything defensively well in that game? Yes, but it seemed like sponge trying to hold water. No metrics just watching. TCU other moment was against K State don't forget they made a statement that game as well. If you still think that Baylor > TCU then that is fine I don't though.

I have only watched a bit Oregon reliance on speed/no huddle more than football skill maybe a problem for Marriotta Rocket River
What is the play to make for Bama/OSU? Leaning Buckeys +8.5, think Bama may be overrated, but Buckeys are hard to read also. Thoughts?
I feel Bama should win comfortably... they may be overrated but its for good reason. They have a tremendous program and have shown up big in big games during the Saban era.
