that was pretty awful $300 bucks down the drain. I'll have to share a bunch of good pics I got on the sidelines before thing got out of control
That was one of the worst offensive performances I've ever seen. Inexcusable for a program like Texas.
I expected us to lose to Arkansas, but ugh. Swoopes seems to have a good head on his shoulders, but he is in way over his head in a program like Texas, playing against any FBS team that is mediocre or better. He just doesn't have the talent, has no passion, no swagger and doesn't like getting hit. I don't want to see him on the field ever again in a Texas uniform. He should consider transferring to a smaller FCS school. If Ash were able to stay healthy all season, I think Texas would have gone 9-4. Shawn Watson has been unimpressive to me, but I think he deserves one more year with a hopefully better QB (Heard or someone else). I still have faith in Strong for now.

We didn't really see any new surprises. Everyone knows what needs to be worked on. Hopefully Heard can be turned into a good player. There's always next year.
I was at the game and I agree. It was the main story. My group was keeping track of UT yardage. Late, and I mean late in the game it was at 24 and holding. Twenty-four total yards! I think the final count was 59. That has to be some kind of national record. UT has serious issues.
This dude is 6 7"! <iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/zwwsqyhkBhE" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Texas releases the WR and TE position coaches today. http://texas.247sports.com/Article/Charlie-Strong-Les-Koenning-Bruce-Chambers-34286384
Well, at least we know Bryan Harsin was not the problem when he was here. 250 yards of offense ... in 10 minutes.
They just went from average to horrible with Watson. I like Strong as a head coach but his loyalty to Watson is going to cost him his job eventually. Watson is the Manny Diaz of offensive coordinators.
i'm giving watson a chance. i want to see what the offense looks like without swoopes first. this ain't teddy bridgewater
DB Davante Davis commits to Texas http://longhorns.blog.statesman.com/2015/01/01/four-star-db-davante-davis-commits-to-texas/ Tx Aggs is trying to stir up rumors about Jefferson wavering on Texas. The guy is already enrolled at UT. If he does drop out and enroll in a&M then I think I'm going to have a melt down.

You have to declare in mid-January. There's no way the Texans would know what they are doing at that point - they didn't even have a coach or GM at the time. And there's no way the Texans would definitively tell him anything regardless - if they were even allowed to have contact with him without ending his eligibility. And if his ideal goal was to get drafted by the Texans, this was probably his only shot. It's doubtful that the Texans would have been in position to draft him again a year later.
I always thought the 2005 season and the 2006 Rose Bowl would make a good 30 for 30. Plenty of good stories from both sides. Hope this NFL Films thing is good.
