I'm going to point the finger at James. But, not for the typical reasons. I WANT him to get in the game and demand or take the damn ball when things start to stagnate like they did last night. For what it's worth, he's convinced me that he is that guy.

Demand the ball and do whatever the hell you want with it. It's your team James. It drives me crazy seeing possessions where he doesn't touch the ball until the end of the shot clock. He needs to go get the ball and Bev needs to look to get it to him. Also, Josh Smith needs to stop thinking so much and just play. He's looked like he's moving in slow motion at times.

If Dwight would play like the rich man's Joey Dorsey and DMO were in the starting lineup with the majority of the post touches we wouldn't have any problems right now. Everybody is blaming Josh Smith but the offense seemed to drop off when Dwight came back from injury. B/c you can't run an offense through the post when you have a post player who can't finish or hit free throws. We saw that troll trade Harden post the other day. I'm surprised we haven't seen any trade Howard posts. I love the guy but if he can't view himself objectively he could end up hurting this team's chances in the long run. Dwight playing to his strengths is what we need. Current Dwight is honestly frustrating to watch.

The problem is just not with Dwight, it's with the entire starting 5 and putting D-Mo in the starting line-up is not going to change things at the present time.

The issue is with ball movement, knowing your role and playing as a FREAKING TEAM... If you look at the threads that are started it's talking about an issue with everyone of the starters and their issues...

Basically, they have to come together as a team.

Honestly I am convinced it is Dwight. There really never has been chemistry between him and James. Dwight will only bring this team down. I miss the days of having Asik as the center and everyone else would just get the **** out of the way.

With the talent we have now compared to the 2012-2013 season, we can win 60+ without Dwight. How many goal tends does he have a game? Am I being delusional? Yeah perhaps but seeing Dwight try to post up is damn near cringe worthy.

the biggest difference between dwight post ups and DMo posts up is that DMo will pass it out to an open man/keep the offense ticking if he doesn't like the shot. he rarely forces up a bad shot from the post. on the other hand, dwight will force up a shot like 95% of the time when he gets in the post.

Lmao@this huge blame game going on in here

Poster who's been praying we trade for Dragic for 2 years: "The problem is Bev!!! He sucks, we need a REAL point guard that can create for others"

Poster who's rooting for D-Mo over the team: "The problem is Josh Smith!! He sucks!!! We need a REAL PF that can postup".

Some of you have hidden agendas in your criticisms. Bev didn't have a great game last nite. But John Wall only had 13pts lol. If Bev held Westbrook to 13pts I'd take that over him scoring 21pts anyday. Josh Smith has looked bad. But I think that's more on Morey for promising him that starting spot without him earning it. It's unfair to judge him when he has no clue what our plays are after 3 games

Harden is great with breaking down the defense, shooting, and passing to the open man. But he is not great at being the point guard, whose job also includes keeping everyone feeling involved and active. Bev might be trying to do that, but he is just not as offensively gifted as he needs to be to make that work.

It might be the solution is just time for them to figure things out...with the caveat that this also provides time for things to fly apart instead.

    Right on point.

Usually when people have pet players, it doesn't turn out well.

Still adjusting to new line-up and trying to take pressure of James. It will take a bout 4-5 more games to be completely integrated. All that matters is we get to the playoffs. We handily beat the grizz on their home court. Team is not even complete yet, I'm sure that morey still has a move to go before complete. How long did it take you to learn Modern Warfare for the first time?

it's obviously dwight. his post game comments are in reference to players calling him out on his mistakes. when he says we've got to stick together, he's saying they've got to stick with him. we've not been good/efficient since he came back.

really dwight's opinion of his game does not match reality and until he accepts his game for what it is he will always have these issues. he is not a #1 option, at best he is a #3 option offensively on this team. he's also 29 y/o so developing his game has come and gone imho, he is who he is. he just has to realize and accept it. btw..., he still is a damn good player. dpoy player, lead league in rebounds and blocks kind of player.

i actualy cringe when i see dream working with howard. it's like those kids puzzles, square peg / round hole it just doesn't fit. howard is and will always be closer to a deke type player not a dream type player. if everyone, coaches, players, dwight, were to realize that i think we could win it all.

I would love it if we could pick that 3pt% up. Being 19th in the NBA ain't gonna work on a team that depends on the shot as much as our team does. I don't care what it takes, if we can't make it we can't take it. Chandler Parsons is off this team, so enough with the streaky shooting already.

I feel this way too. I still have my theory that Dwight's post ups kind of ruins Harden's flow to the game. Harden likes to control it and when Dwight gets in the way of that it kinda messes both of them up.

So you start to see Harden just floating around watching Dwight post up and that's just bad offense.

Sad thing is Dwight would get more points off of garbage buckets because his rebounding is so good than he does posting up. That's what he is and what he should embrace. He doesn't have to post up to be a great all-time center. I don't know where that idea comes from.

The thing is, I saw the progress earlier in the season. His spin moves were crisp and he mixed up his post moves a little better. But since he got hurt (or the child abuse allegations became public:rolleyes:) he's looked like the one trick pony Dwight. I think Dwight's a special type dude who lets his emotions affect his work ethic. If he's feeling good one nite he'll give you a workman like effort. If he feels "unhappy" he'll pout and commit dumb fouls just so he doesn't have to play. Even though he's put up good numbers last few games, I don't see him leading in the way he did in last years playoffs. He needs to be getting on guys and holding guys accountable for playing like crap (hello Josh Smith)

We're 4-4 since Dwight returned. We were 9-1 with him before his knee injury, although the schedule was easier during that stretch.

I don't buy that we're a better team without Dwight. That's crazy talk. But he does need to play a certain role in order for this team to achieve the most success and it's not with the offense running through him in the post.
