To be honest I think the Rockets just need depth and adding Brewer and JSmith gave them that. I see no difference in the amount of production from Smith or a healthy TJones. If we get Jones back and bring him off the bench the Rockets will be a pretty nice team moving forward.

Everyone seems to have selective memory. Jones started in only the first TWO games of the playoffs.

Aldridge was unguardable in that series. Both asik and Howard could not stop him. If you think smith or dmo would've made a difference then you're sadly mistaken.

Jones started the first two games and then was benched to attempt to run Asik and Howard at the same time to stop Aldridge. I'm not saying Smith would have slowed/stopped Aldridge in those first 2 games when he was on fire but we wouldn't have had to run a lineup change and Asik could have helped give Howard better relief minutes. That whole series when Jones was on the floor was like free points for Aldridge. It's not selective memory for me either because I just looked at the stats, after game 2 he got 30 a few more times but wasn't hitting everything he threw up there. Smith is a lot more athletic on Defense and could have changed it for us, Jones was basically exposed in that series.

Smith was not good last night. But neither were Bev, Ariza, or Terry. Should we question those acquisitions as well?

Let's wait at least a few weeks before giving up on this signing. Last I checked, he played a key role in the win at Memphis and that was before the ink was even dry on his contract.

Milk Hair and Muorray are the bad halves of them. The flawed personalities

Can't really fire them because you would get rid of HOFer Kevin and Superstar GM Daryl Dork Elvis

Aldridge had his best two games the two that Jones guarded him the most. Both Asik and Howard had significant impact on Aldridge's shooting percentages relative to how he shot vs Jones.

Smith looks like he's trying too hard to shed his reputation.

People need to calm down in the game thread against the Wizards. Smith basically just got here, and CFers are already trashing the guy.

He needs to take a page out of Brewer's book..god I love that guy. Instant energy on offense and defense, complete off the ball player.

People ready to crucify Dorsey for his 8 mins a game and 20% ft shooting. But smith gets a pass for his sweet 40%.
