Udrih and Grizzlies Pick for Jones Miles Plumlee for Canaan and Grizzlies Pick Udrih is a great playmaker. Plumlee is a great rim protector.
Jack is playing very good basketball right now. If the Rockets do not pursue and/or cannot land Dragic, Jack should be on their short list imo.
if kevin love is available, does anyone have any realistic scenarios where we could obtain him? he looks uninterested out there. i'm sure cleveland would fire blatt before moving love though.
Yeah, that's an anomaly. 6 of 35 this year. For his career he's 531/1509 for 35.2% And when he throws up over 150 3-attempts in a season his percentage goes up close to 37%. Jack is a very good shooter from all over the court. Not a great shooter. But a very good shooter from everywhere.
Houston Trades: Clint Capela LA Lakers Trade: Ed Davis Davis is a FA at season's end and this would essentially be a playoff rental for back-up Center. Our window seems wide open this season, so I am going all-in.
I want to move Howard but want a lot more than this. Embiid maybe something special some day but I need a sure thing and some lottery pick, too. A better deal than we gave for Harden. I want a young all-star or a boarder line all star (in a position of need), a project with all-star potential and at the least 2 high lottery picks. Basically reload for the next era all in one trade. ADD TO THIS and we will talk. It is HOWARD we are trading. HE HAS A LOT OF VALUE. We will not just give him away.
http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=pnacmcu Memphis also gets a few second rounders. Charlotte gets PHX protected 1st rounder. Rockets start Brewer and Dragic. Then send Shved and NOP 1st to Chicago for McDermott Depth Chart would be: Dragic/Udrih/Canaan Harden/Terry/Johnson Brewer/Lee/McDermott DMo/Smith/Capela Howard/Plumlee/Dorsey
Jarrett Jack makes $6.3 mil this year and $6.3 mil again next year, and is not necessarily an upgrade over current guards on the roster who are non-cap cloggers (Jason Terry, Alexey Shved, Isaiah Canaan). This is not going to happen, Daryl Morey has zero interest in trading for that contract. Besides, Daryl Morey is gunning for someone much better than Jarrett Jack. Goran Dragic maybe puts this team over the top, Chris Bosh maybe puts this team over the top, Al Horford maybe puts this team over the top. Jarrett Jack doesn't. I do agree that an obvious area to upgrade is at guard. I would love to see a three guard rotation of James Harden, Patrick Beverley, and someone much better than Terry/Shve/Canaan/Nick Johnson. Somebody much better than Jeremy Lin. Not Jarrett Jack. Man, I hope it ends up being Dragic. Ty Lawson would be nice, too. I would also like to see the team add a combo forward (basically a SF who can play alongside Trevor Ariza in a smallball lineup a la Carlos Delfino) who can shoot well from three-point range. Kostas Papanikolaou and Corey Brewer are not very good at shooting threes. Adding P.J. Tucker with Dragic might work, Tucker is a highly undervalued threes-and-D guy. Shawne Williams (Miami) is shooting the ball well. Wilson Chandler might work. Jared Dudley might work. The dream addition (IMO) is Tobias Harris but Orlando wants to keep this guy, understandably. Arron Afflalo might even work but that would be some serious smallball right there. Probably your best bet is Tucker. Man, that guy is good! And he is very reasonably priced! Ideally, Houston's killer postseason lineup is composed of Dragic-Harden-mystery player-Ariza-Howard. With the mystery player being the type of player discussed in the previous paragraph. Houston's killer postseason lineup (IMO) will not consist of Josh Smith although Smith may continue to start.
Dwight Howard is not getting traded, at least not this season. No reason to be talking Dwight Howard trades. Maybe if Detroit was dumb enough to give up Andre Drummond but surely Detroit isn't that stupid. Surely Stan Van Gundy has had enough Dwight Howard drama to last a lifetime. James Harden isn't getting traded. Trevor Ariza isn't getting traded. Patrick Beverley isn't getting traded. This is the stuff that might get traded: 1) expiring contracts (Jason Terry, Kostas Papanikolaou, Corey Brewer, Alexey Shved) 2) cheap/young guys with "upside" (Terrence Jones, Donatas Motiejunas, Isaiah Canaan, Clint Capela, Nick Johnson) 3) draft picks
I'm not sure if the kings still want smith but we should do smith and Canaan for collison and Reggie Evans Collison is a solid pg and Evans is a good rebounding backup
