Let's Go Rockets! We know you can win this game. Defense first, play smart basketball and all should be ok.

 

3rd game in 4 nights and against a solid opponent, but the Rockets should play way better than last night which hopefully leads to a win. Win these next 2 at home and they finish with a 10-4 record for December which would be outstanding given the injuries and new additions.

 

We will win. Wizards are a good team

I still think DMo is better than Gortat at this 3-5th season as Dwight backup- and you now what folks- grow him here, not when he leaves. Just give people what they want,.. oh yeah my mistake- Just give DMo ball in the post..

 

I'm eager to see how Pat Beverly does against John Wall. IMO, Pat's defense hasn't been what I remembered from last year. Still, I want to see him be a pest and get under Wall's skin.

This exactly.. I just don't see the fire and tenacious D from PBev as much anymore. It is super effective off the bench, but near impossible to keep it up as a starter. Is he a overrated defender now that he doesnt move fast and hustle as much anymore?

 

He may be trying to keep himself healthy due to the lack of depth we have behind him. Maybe management has asked him to tone it down until the playoffs?

Also, he has to hear the rumors surrounding the Rockets interest in upgrading the PG. Not going to directly attribute that to his lowered intensity as you mentioned, but it has to effect him mentally to an extent. He's busted his butt since the day he got here, and with the Lowry, Rondo, Rubio, Dragic interest (much of which was reported), maybe it is getting to him a little. IMO, it should make him play with a chip on his shoulder....perhaps it is having the opposite effect instead.
