Kobe and Rose are two of the most overrated players of the last several years. Score inefficiently and do nothing else. Please don't mention them with MJ and LeBron again. The goat and a top 20 all- time lock
For people who've watched the Cavs, is Lebron coasting or seemingly not as hungry as with the Heat? Maybe he suffers from the same MJ had, meaning they have achieved what they wanted and there was not much reason to play anymore. While different, from all the highlights and talk it seems Lebron didn't want the Heat so he got out of the kitchen and is now just relaxing in his hometown.
He admitted after the Magic game he's in chill mode. And from watching, I do think that's the case. He rarely posts up anymore (like he did with the Heat to increase his efficiency). He's more jumper happy this year (hence his fg% dropped to 50%, which is still great but not to his standards). He's averaging career low in rebounds. He doesn't defend. All of those are signs of effort and he's putting in minimal effort right now. Even in games where thye are losing, you see zero signs of worry. He still tries to play with the crowd and entertain them. He owns the East and he knows it. I don't think you will see a motivated Lebron probably until February. Love is. Irving has put in effort this year. It's Lebron who isn't even trying.
Wow he admitted that?? I'm losing so much respect for this guy. I always thought the hate was unwarranted, even though the decision and the forming of a big 3 will never gain my respect and I disliked him for it. But now, every pile of **** that comes his way is well deserved!! Maybe Lance did get in his head by blowing in his ear?
WTF? When was the last time Kobe did anything on his own? At least LBJ took the Cavs to the NBA finals, Kobe couldn't even get to the 2nd round the only time he was alone. Oh wait even then he wasn't alone, he already had Lamar Odom and they still got their asses kicked LBJ and Kobe in the same sentence is an insult to LBJ it isn't even funny, at LBJ care about winning a ring so much he took a discount and left his hometown and went to another alpha male's turf to win a ring. Kobe? Dude alienated both Shaq and DHoward and then maxxed out his salary at a time when other players who cared about winning were taking discounts. I've rather have someone who cares so much about winning he gets nervous to shoot the game winning shot than some A-Hole who only cares about his stats. You know why Kobe doesn't feel any pressure when the game is on the line? Because he doesn't care whether the team wins or not, it's just another shot to him so if the team losses it's no skin off his nose. If Kobe REALLY cared about winning why would he alienate both Shaq and Dwight, two guys universally considered as the best center during their time? If Kobe really cared about winning why did he max out his salary at the time when Duncan and Dirk were taking discounts so their team can afford better players? Black Mamba don't give no **** whether his team wins or losses, as long as his stats look good he's aiiiiit. Look at him on the Lakers now, happy as can be on a horrible team because he can take 50 shots a game and play no defense

There has to be more to their low energy level than LeBron not leading by example. I said before the season the main key for the Cavs was LeBron and Blatt being on the same page. To be fair to Blatt, he just isn't ready for a situation like this. Would have been better for him to take the assistant position with the Warriors and learn the NBA on-court and off-court cultures before becoming a head coach.
This might be the saltiest post about a single player, that I've ever seen, on CF. Bolded #1: He carried a really, really bad team to the Finals. Name another player in the league right now, that can do what he did. B #2: LeBron is the only reason why Miami was as competitive as they were, during his tenure there. Did you even watch the games? B #3: See #2. OKC would have had their first title, and SA would be repeat champs if it wasn't for LeBron. B #4/#5: Well...that's just salt on salt.

They fire that crap coach yet? Why are they wasting everyone's time? Hire someone and go to the finals already.
