Lol, I know... It's like we just lost game 7 in the Finals...

 

Have you ever sat court side at a Rocket game? Been to 3 games this month. Peasant.

We can't ask everything from a team with two new rotation players. It was frustrating as hell, but no one wins them all.

 

Rockets were up 10 in the second quarter and then had like 5 straight turnovers the Spurs scored on to even it up. Story of the game.

 

Wakeup call for people who think we're the team to beat.

 

Will we ever learn to be a low turnover team? Other than not securing defensive rebounds, nothing frustrates me more in basketball than stupid, bonehead turnovers.

 

I was pissed. I was not on his nuts for big shots. U must have me confused with T for 3

Why do you bother arguing with kids? There are plenty here in CF in recent times, kids lack patient and not reasonable, they want the team to go 82-0 in the regular season and 16-0 in the playoffs. They cannot accept defeat. The best way to handle kids is to ignore them.

 

I'm really not even mad about the loss. Disappointed of course, but a close loss on the road in December is not a big deal. So after losses like this I can come to the GARM and amuse myself with peoples reactions. Beverly Sucks, Ariza sucks, Smith has killed our chemistry etc.

Must be tough for you guys, that everything has such disproportionate importance.

 

..and yet just like ours here lives on and on and on.

Our coach made mistakes today just like any coach can. Point is to learn from them and I think he can.

 

Whoever this dude is is pathetic.

 

At least this game didn't go to overtime. We play the Wiz tomorrow. They are 8-2 in there last 10 games and playing there best basketball all season. Wall has been killing it.

I wonder if Ariza will light them up for 10 threes like he did us. I doubt it though.

 

I didn't get to see this game. Can anyone tell me whether the TOs and other snafus were mostly the result of experimenting and trying to integrate the new starting 5, or whether it was just sloppiness?

I'll say this much - I felt a helluva lot better after our win in Memphis than I do bad after tonight's loss. Beating Memphis in Memphis means a sh!tload more than beating SA.

 

Brewer should have played more. He should have played 36+ the way he was shooting tonight. He could have scored 40 points tonight had he put up 10 more shots.

We lost against the defending champions at their place, we kept it close and probably should have won.

Forget about tonight, learn from it, and play the next game.

 

Refs and sloppiness... Really bad passing by Rockets tonight.

 

A little of both Will, it looked like we did not come out with the appropriate energy in the first half, and we were making sloppy passes.

The Spurs competed their tales off, and the Rockets joined them in the 2nd half - the missed FTs, and turnovers hurt - we simply lost in a 50/50 game to a little smarter team.

I think that we probably beat them most often once the dust settles in the rotation - but we have to play smart and clean up the sloppiness and value the ball just a little better.

I think we are stuck with the poor FT shooting unfortunately.

I hate how tight the West is. A 2-3 game skid and you could go from 4-5 to out of the playoffs. Can't afford anymore 25 turnover nights
