How about even one full season of playing? I get why you have your hopes up as a Titans fan, but you'll just have to wait and see like the rest of us.

Also, let's stop talking about Clowney, this thread is about Bridgewater and the two players are not related in any way whatsoever.

Bridgewater had 4 interceptions his final year in college to 33 tds. Clowney was dnp ,ost of the year with an injury that even his own coach questioned.

But 1 BAD pro day later and the texans saw all they needed to see: clowney was the man and the 33tds and 4int rate didn't matter.

Bridgewater was THE guy that the texans should have taken. There is no question about it.

LOL, I don't doubt that Titans fans would have loved the Texans taking Teddy Bridgewater with the first pick in the draft. Anyway this topic is getting boring but I do love that Clutchfans is the home of the most optimistic Vikings fans on the internet.

I mean at some point at the end of the first round wouldn't you say, hey, let's just chalk up that pro day to a bad day and look at what he did. 33tds and 4int. Wouldn't you do that?

I'm pretty sure they had him pegged as Alex Smith 2.0 just like a lot of people did and if you pick that at 2.1, fine, but why trade up for it?

Based on 1 pro day, they decided this, by the way. That is pretty idiotic and the league is going to pay for it.

Alex Smith wasn't close to what bridgewater is at 21. It took Smith like 5 years to "get it." So it is idiotic for you to even make that comparison.

The dude can read defenses, he is intelligent and he has an arm. The guy protects the football, and so naturally he's alex smith, lol

No, not based on 1 pro day, based on everything. Only in the minds of some talking heads and in the minds of some fans was Teddy Bridgewater ever in serious conversation to go in the first part of the draft. He didn't fall because of a pro day, he never actually fell, he was just overrated by some and then reality sank in.

Well, it appears he's actually under-rated and most NFL GMs (and some fans) aren't that good at judging talent.

You what was underrated: jadavon Clowney's willingness to sit out football games. That flew by the pundits and the texans front office as well.

It's amusing seeing Bobbythegreat backpedal like this on Bridgewater. First he was a bottom 3 QB in the league, now he sucks because he's not a top 3 elite talent in his rookie season.

    Lmao

When he was performing like a bottom 3 QB in the NFL, I said he was performing like a bottom 3 QB in the NFL. Now that he's putting on decent game manager performances, I say he's putting on good game managing performances.....

I never said "he sucks", but then again, by this point I don't expect intelligent or accurate posts from you.

leading the league in the completion percentage the past 6 weeks is not stuff game manager do...

if teddy played from week 1, he would have close to a 4,000 yard season according pff

Actually that's exactly what game managers do. They usually have a super high completion percentage because you limit the total number of passes and make them as safe as possible....that's the whole point of a game manager.

Also, if he'd have played from week 1, he'd have less than 3600 yards unless he played better in those extra games than he has on average this season....that's not "close to 4000"

Aaron Rodgers and Peyton Manning are game managers apparently.

Didn't know that they had such a high completion percentage because they only made safe passes.

Of the top 10 completion percentage seasons in the nfl: Drew Brees, Joe Montana, Tony Romo, Philip Rivers, Dante Culpeper, Steve Young, Brian Griese, Kenny Anderson.

    Yeah, I see your point.
