Memphis has actually been relevant since 2011, we just hit our stride with the Harden trade in 2012, both franchises are doing ok for themselves

I know right? I was especially laughing at that comment saying Harden's ceiling is a John Salmons kind of guy.

There was actually a similar thread on the GARM (found both on a Google search), but posters here unanimously picked Harden as the better one.

Much obglied. It's pretty obvious too, Grizzlies are the complete opposite of us and reason why they have been succesful both against us and making a serious title run. Until my Rockets start doing that, there really isn't much for me to go with other than we have a genius running our franchise.

Lol I'm sorry but the Grizzlies have accomplished nothing. It's championship or bust for all teams in the NBA. Nothing else matters. Lionel Hollins made the Grizz relevant by making them a great defensive team. Joerger is trying to augment their offense with more transition baskets. They need better wing scoring. Maybe Vince Carter should start and Poindexter come off the bench with his energy.

I think it's actually cool there's some dedicated fans from other team's like "what", "clippy", and "pacerstom" who post on clutchfans.

In general the NBA dish is a much better subforum than the GARM. And the fact that there are fans of other teams who post here helps a lot. It's interesting to get a tale of the Rockets/NBA that isn't just homers. Not to mention the fact that they post here usually implies they aren't trolls just bashing whatever team.

Objectively speaking the Grizzlies have done more than us in the past 4-5 years. It's not that big a deal because the Rockets have had the historically better franchise and better players. Also Memphis sucks at drafting.
