Man, if Memphis were a good 3 point shooting team, they would be hands down the best team in the league. The way they cut and find easy layups with their bigs is unreal, tie that in with an efficient 3 point shooting percentage and they would be damn near impossible to guard.

Relax, it's been 1 game. Give this team 2 months !! And hopefully.... a little Dragic as well ;]. Thought smith was supposed to start but he finished and I hope it stays like that until dmo loses the starter spot.

 

Kudos to Ariza as well for having a solid game in a long time as well.

 

Jones is better player offensively. No way Jones ever becomes close to a Smith on defense.

 

Most of his shots came from drives but they didnt give him any calls on his drives (at least 3 were clear fouls). One layup just rolled out after it hung on the rim.

He took a desperation buzzer beater 3 in the flow of the game, and a wide open mid range jumper. He only took one bad three i guess. Big deal.

The reason is because they put carter on him and he had the biggest mismatch in terms of size and strength. Gasol was on howard and allen was on harden.

 

This Rockets team was years in the making...cant believe how nicely things have turned out for us...we have depth...youth...length...athleticism...superstars...and championship level defense...AND IT ALL START with JAMES HARDEN #MVP

Agreed. The way they play in the interior and get easy buckets is a thing of beauty. It's smart basketball, and they are coached well.

 

He can attack the rim at will and get to the foul line. Occasionally can hit the 3.

 

You guys do realize that most of Josh Smith shots were from attacking the basket right?

If I get 21 of those shots from him, then I'll definitely take it... especially if Dwight is a no show like he was tonight.

 

If Josh can do this with one shootaround session, can you imagine the potential?!?!

My comment on his amount of shots is just because he's known as a chucker, that's all. I agree most of his shots we're good, he actually missed a lot of lay-ups and close ones that he usually makes so could've easily had 25 points.

I love Brewery man, that guy's 3pt shot looks so bad sometimes and he gets so excited when he makes them. If he continues to do this, we will be awesome!

Glad McHale made some adjustments at least: no more Shved, thank God, and no Dwight until late in the 4th. And no more D-Mo, he sucked tonight.

 

I just want everyone to be healthy going into the playoffs. That's all you can ask for as a ROCKETS fan.

 

Ariza definitely had supreme confidence in his shot. Ariza was just letting them fly with hands in his face.

 

These should be automatic bans. Gumbleton always says it and it is annoying.

 

Jones will be having a hard time. Josh is pretty good on Offense as well.

 

Anyone who wants Smith quarterbacking this team in the closing minutes than Harden is a moran.
