First game..... maybe he is trying to say hello to his fellow teammates and coaches and fans

Teammates were padding him on his head after buckets

 

Exactly, why can't McHale get this through his thick skull??!?!?

 

I think they're just seeing what he's got.

 

I saw that one, just stupid play awareness by Dwight.

 

I just hope the Rockets can get to the free throw line and keep the Grizzlies off of it in the second half. They have been calling it tight on the Grizzlies side which is leading to these barely contested layups.

I know that is like asking for the moon.

 

Shved shouldn't be playing over Canaan, Dwight can't score against bigs who can play d (except for Robin Lopez), Dwight also continues NOT to step out on pick and roll plays. The same way he didn't step out when Anthony Davis continued to make shot after shot in his face. We can still win though because of beard.

 

Almost all of Smith's shots have been right at the basket. I'm happy with the way he's playing.

Shved has a good game but he needs to be mentally stronger. Play tougher defense and on the offensive side, just attack. Play with confidence, man

He has shown he can get by his man and get to the rim. I think coaches wanted to see if he could break down his guy on the dribble.

 

Best team in the L without there best offensive player and they are on a 3 game losing streak.

But yeah they are good.

 

Seriously. This guy shaved looks terrible and should in no way be playing more than Canaan.

 

No point in complaining about McHale anymore.. He'll be with us for the next 3 1/2 years!

Yeah, Grizz have taken advantage of this. That's why our lineups with Smith have been better tonight.

I almost wonder if this game would look a lot different with Zbo playing. As in we would be leading or it would be closer. Grizz would not be playing so small and fast as they are now as they'd keep one of Marc/Zbo out there and stay big in their frontcourt.

 

Shved loks like he can get to the basket at will and can draw fouls in the paint. Just needs to build chemistry with the rest of the Tarik's.

This is not the time to see if a new guy is good or not, you need to stick with what you have! It doesn't surprise me, Canaan wasn't even getting time when Beverley was out...sigh. Hope you guys are happy with that extension, it's already killing me here!!!
