Dwight says he wants a championship... But plays with no heart

 

Beverley does just fine for this team.

Not everyone can be a star.

 

That was dumb as hell to switch that, just gave Conley the mismatch.

With that said we've played horrible and disinterested at times. To be down 7 is a plus.

 

Howard has to know there's only a second left and get on Conley!

But shaky first half. But we really had something to close the half. Tough to incorporate 3 rotational players in and it shows. Hopefully we get a groove in the second.

He's to big gotta protect the drive as well...The real problem is that they switched on the screen, whoever called that switch put him in that situation

Well, it's certainly on Dwight if we lose this one. I'm not going to kneejerk and make any judgment on his ability to be a franchise player based on one half, but he's damn sure getting ravished by the Grizzlies' frontcourt.

 

Wow, Conley is quite good...

 

Conley is cold blooded. So underrated

 

Howard is terrible, first he did not even try to get on the floor when Lee almost lost it and then he backs off of Conley when the shot clock was running down!!! What was Conley going to do, get to the rim?

 

Oh that was Howard? Dang. So disappointing.

 

Am I the only one that is scared that J-Smith will shoot everytime he has the ball? My problem is not the shot count, it's that he has so far only looked to score each time rather than find open teammates for a better shot.

 

conley would easily be the 2nd best player on the rockets.

 

Haha I agree man.. but honestly man, we are playing the Grizz with a completely new player on our starting line up. We have to be patient. I am assuming you actually do get what I'm saying.

 

I am cheering for him and the team - if I see something great that I like I will post it, but the team is getting beat ATM.

Give them time guys. We got a lot of weapons that just need to learn how to play together.

 

Smith playing well....Dwight...another story. Lazy ass lack of a close out on that last 3 before the end of the half. He is 6'10" and has played like he's 5'2".

 

It is a trend I'm noticing with Dwight, he doesn't like contesting the guard's shot - and if he does it is a half hearted effort.

Case in point - that shot right there.

You know a 6' guard is not going to be confident in his stroke if Dwight is contesting his jumper with intensity.

 

Howard must have been thinking about the 2012 Conley scouting report.
