With the addition of Josh Smith and Corey Brewer over the break, I am certain this is the most athletic Rockets team I have seen in my lifetime. We could at times put a lineup of Harden, Brewer, Ariza, Smith, and Howard on the floor, and it would be the most athletic in the league. We'd have like an average 40 inch vertical across that lineup. That is sick! Finally, we have some high flyers with the height, speed, and athleticism that we have been lacking for so long. Feels great to have such pieces considering the lineups we have put out on the floor this past decade. I remember the days when Stro "Mild" Swift was the most athletic player on the team behind T-Mac. How far have we come.

    Go Rockets!

But are they also the most urban Rockets team in our lifetime?

Not unless Howard does the booty dance while Smith wears baggy pants representing hood culture. You know even successful African Americans on the team are put off by this urbanization of Rockets basketball entertainment.

Who cares? Kelvin Cato, Carlos Rogers, and the rest of the 2000 team were pretty athletic, and they sucked. I don't care about verticals.

The 67 Fort Wayne Pistons were the most athletic team in NBA history.

    KNOW THAT.

I'm not sure any player in the starting lineup is sporting a 40 inch vertical anymore but I get the point. As Rockets fans, we have been witness to undersized and underwhelming athletically teams for quite a while.

Good to see teams being overwhelmed by the Rockets athleticism for a change.

When you're snorting as much blow as they were it makes you appear a whole lot more athletic than you actually are.
